A great place for brunch and lunch. We were in a rush but the server made sure that there were no delays with the food being served. Kudos for that in the middle of a busy morning of guests in the cafe. The food options were great, delicious and served warm.and fresh..it’s usually busy which speaks for the poulpularity of the place..definitely recommend the place..

Someone had mentioned a Chili Verde omelet was a must.
Did not disappoint at all.
It was eggscellent!
Staff was great as well.
Will definitely be my go to when I’m in the area. The salsas where great as well.

The absolute BEST breakfast/lunch place. Very nice staff, immediate seating, quick food delivery, great for dining in and taking to go!! Portions are big at very fair pricing (I almost always have leftovers). I love coming here when I’m indecisive between what kind of brunch I’m in the mood for Mexican and American food; it’s the best of both worlds
For reference: I ordered a large hobo plate (no edits or substitutions) with a Mexican hot chocolate to drink ❤️

The food is good. I have to give it to him. But the service and the waitress is so arrogant and disrespectful. I had to holler, not so much holler, but call out to the waitress in a very small restaurant, because she was not in visual sight, and then she comes out frowning, or looking at me with the frown, and then when I go to pay my mail, I explain to her that your aura is off. And she was like, oh, I’ve never been told that before. I will never come back here. I don’t know if it’s because I’m black. But she is so arrogantly disrespectful and worst customer service in the restaurant. I’ve ever experienced so yeah, this is my review and they aint gotta worry about me coming back here. She went above and beyond to be arrogant and disrespectful

Food: Pork chop was very overcooked and dry, so much so that it was hard to cut with a steak knife. Potatoes and veggies in breakfast burrito were undercooked. But Pancake was fluffy and yummy.
Service: Had to waive our arm in the air for about a minute to get more coffee and then again to ask for boxes.
Will not be returning…

A great sandwich needs great bread. I just had a delicious grilled chicken avocado sandwich. Lettuce, tomato, mayo. On a wonderfully soft, fresh roll. Perfect. Also, I swapped out fries for a fruit bowl.

I recently came upon this place over Easter weekend. I was craving an omelette and this place had good reviews so I thought I’d give it a try. So glad I did. Food and service was great. Home made salsa was great. Looking forward to many more visits. Pictured here are the hot hobo and Joe’s special.

This little place is Good, as they say “A Hidden Gem” which is on the borderline of Hayward and Castro Valley. I had the Hungry Hobo and it was quite filling, the potatoes that came with it are ok, needed some seasoning, I also ordered the Special #3 which is French toast and some eggs and bacon, French toast was also good, both had very good portions for the price. The place is somewhat kinda small inside and cozy. Service by the lady was quick and she was on top of keeping my coffee filled. I quickly got my food in about a good 10-15mins which is not bad at all considering it was kinda busy, overall this a Good and Excellent place. I will be coming back to check out some other stuff on their menu!
