I was very impressed with this spot. My boss recommended it and mentioned that after discovering it, he has been back to try every one of their sandwiches. After trying it for myself, I see why! The building is nice and very clean, we were seated immediately, and our waitress was very friendly and attentive. The food came out quickly and was so good. I got the turkey club and my boss got the diablo burger. We also got the fried pickles and they were worth the trip alone. I will definitely be following his lead and coming back to try more things. I would recommend this spot for sure.

The Shift over promised, overbooked and terribly under delivered for this Easter event. We love The Shift for a casual lunch but they were way out of their capabilities. They were desperately understaffed in the kitchen and in the dining room. In the course of 2 hours to complete we saw at least three tables leave in frustration.
We were seated at our reserved time but it took over 40 minutes to have the meal brought to our table. Salads were brought with the entree instead of a 1st course. Basic drinks were provided but refills were never offered. The sides were generous but the proteins were barely enough for 2 people at a sitting of 5. Promised refills never came. Had they, they would have been consumed with cold sides. The tenderloin was overcooked and dry, the ham was more fat than meat.Sides were decent but I expect they hoped you would fill up on those and not the proteins. The strawberry shortcake was only by definition a short cake, a yellow cake severed with a few fresh strawberries not what is normally expected as strawberry shortcake amd the brownie was a sad brown flavorless triangle.
At this point I don’t know if we will go back for lunch but I know we will not visit their restaurant for any future events of this type. $28/per person was a rip-off for what was provided.

We found this place on the way home from my dirt bikes that has been Acres. It was looking at inside of what appears to be a golf course clubhouse. The pretzel with bier cheese was fantastic and the Diablo burgers did not disappoint.

Everything was great. Food is scratch made in-house and it shows. We have been to the original Bright location, but this was our first time at their new spot in Batesville. Much better than anything you will find in the Cincinnati area.

I went back to Shift and had some amazing food! I absolutely recommend their Sunny N Bright burger! It’s SO good! They also have great green fried tomatoes and margarita pizza! Their BBQ chicken pizza is super as well, but I have absolutely, and I mean absolutely, no spice tolerance, so the BBQ sauce was a bit spicy for me. It still took about 30 minutes to get our food and the service staff was very busy so they didn’t come by often but they were very sweet. It’s a great place!

It’s a cute country club restaurant! We went shortly after they opened, and they had about five tables, and it took about 45 minutes to get our food, so make sure you have time to sit and eat. The Caeser salad was SO good! The Baja chicken sandwich was good, but the meat was really thick, so it ended up being a bit dry. They have super cute dishes and a great atmosphere. It’s like a modern western vibe, and we loved it! If you have time and are around, I recommend stopping by!

We started out with reservation for 7.
We were seated and ordered drinks.
Ordered our food.
After an hour we asked when our food would be out.
We were told by the server she would have to check.
A few minutes later someone else came out and informed us that we were behind a group of thirty and did not know when they would start our food.
We were also told they were short staffed because one person called in with a family emergency.
After finding out our food was not started we decided to leave. They told us we didn’t owe anything for our drinks.
They handled everything from the start very poorly. This is the worst service we have ever had here. They made no effort to apologize or make it right.
I have many suggestions on how they could have handled things differently but if they haven’t figured it out by now it will not change anything.
We have had ok service in the past but they are usually slow.
I would avoid this place if your in a hurry or have realistic expectations of getting your food in a timely manner.
Today’s visit deserves a Negative Star rating but the lowest available option was a 1 star.
On a side note to whoever had the family emergency we hope things are OK and sorry to hear about your misfortune. You however need to be given a HUGE raise as it evident that the place cannot function without you.

Great service and amazing food! All the staff are very welcoming and our waitress Allie did a fantastic job! We enjoyed the Veggie Melt sandwich and special of the day which was a yummy steak. We do not normally visit restaurants at golf clubs but this one is great and we will be back!

The drinks were good. But the bartender brought a beer over when my husband already had one, then charged us for it. It sat on the table and got warm while he drank the first beer brought to him just 2 minutes before. The pretzel was ok but nothing special about it. We choose to eat someplace else since we’re charged for warm beer that wasn’t ordered and appetizer that was just ok.

Food is always great, but rarely brought out the way your ordered it. Wait staff is awful. Rarely check on you, bring refills, etc. despite having 5 working with 9 total people in the dining room. Would be an easy 4/5 if the wait staff were good at thier job.

I will never go back! My daughter and I both ordered the Tuscan Pasta, it’s $18.00 for just the pasta. If you want it add a protein it’s an additional $6-$8. The portion was tiny which is absurd for the price. It came with a good side salad however my daughter asked for mashed potatoes instead. The server informed us that was a $5 up charge for a scoop of mashed potatoes no bigger than 1/3 cup.
On top of that the service was terrible. We had to ask three times for silverware and the waitress seemed like she’d rather be anywhere than at work.
My total at the end of the night was infuriating for what we received. My suggestion, find someplace else to eat.
