I am usually a critic when it comes to food and dining, but I have to say this was one of my best dine-in experiences at any restaurant, let alone a Thai restaurant. The moment you enter the place, you definitely know its a Thai restaurant with the sweet and sour aroma kicking in. Their tables were neat and clean with beautiful crockery. I started off with a Rose Sherbet drink with lots of basil seeds in it, which I love. I tried a variety of their starters including Prawn Toast, Fish Cakes, Fried Calamari, Aubergine Fritters, Honey Glazed Chicken Wings, and Spring Rolls and their Pad Thai Noodles as the main course. Not a single dish failed in taste and presentation. The portions were just the right amount to make you full. The owners were extremely lovely, mannered, and welcoming. The staff was very professional and efficient. A very spacious parking outside with a quiet and peaceful surrounding.

We came here for a family meal with a picky 10 year old (the rest of us love thai) and had phoned ahead before booking to ask if a plain meal could be done for them, which we were assured it could. On ordering, however, we were told this could not be done. Awkward! The waiter was taken aback that someone had told us this was possible, but we were persuaded to order the chicken satay under the assurance that the chef would make it as plain and sauce free as possible. When the meal came it was fabulous and Miss Picky Eater demolished hers as well. Winner! We ordered some desserts for the kids too and got huge portions of really lovely options. The whole experience here was great, the staff were friendly and attentive, the ambiance and decor was stunning, the bathrooms were the nicest bathroom in a restaurant I have ever been in. Really well worth going

Dropped in to The Thia kitchen as we were passing located in Clotton not far from Tarporley. Arrived early evening so was very quite. We had a mix of rice and curries that was cooked by a accomplished chef. Fresh and fragrant all dishes were superb. Service was exceptional by Riaj who was very polite and sociable. Definitely be returning to this Gem of a restaurant. Many thanks to all the Staff who looked after us so well.

The taste of the food was astonishing with the papaya salad being my very favourite, rich in flavour! The atmosphere is stunning and likewise the service. Very attentive staff and a specific thank you to Shup for making our experience great, surprising us with a delicious Thai dessert.

Food was actually ok. But just massively overpriced for basic ingredients. For the prices charged I presumed at a minimum the chicken would be real pieces of breast. But no, it was similar to what you’d get in a Chinese takeaway: thin slivers pumped with water.
A portion of rice which costs pennies to produce was £14.
The bill was £100 for 4 mains and 4 soft drinks. Its a nope from me

If I write anything negative here it’s because I care.
We came here Sunday afternoon nov 2025 and were the only customers.
Restaurant was attractive/spotless and we enjoyed the incense smell.
We shared a fish cake starter, followed by beef massaman, squid yellow curry and a single coconut steamed rice. 2 pints of lager shandy. The bill came to over £60.
Staff were attentive and friendly. Lovely folk.
The meals themselves were top quality, tender meat/fish. The rice steamy and coconutty.
And now our (helpful) impressions.
Firstly, it was way, way too expensive. Reduce your prices by 30%.
Prawn crackers should be freely given when a customer arrives. (After all they cost pennies and impress your guests.)
I’d advise a cheap Sunday/business/set menu to attract people to try you. In frodsham, a Chinese restaurant we frequent asks only £20 for a set Sunday lunch.
Improve your marketing eg have a web page. I found you difficult to find and needed to open google maps and scroll in etc.
Please use heated devices to keep dishes warm, or use smaller bowls so less heat escapes.
That’s it really. We very much enjoyed our lunch and we eat out often, but the cost would put us off coming again.

Lovely meal. Scallops, seseme prawn toast followed by yellow curry, pad thai and a duck stir fry, plus egg fried rice all beautifully presented. Couldnt fault any of it. Drinks reasonably priced too. Surprised it wasnt busier, maybe beause it often doesn’t come up in onlone searches? Look forward to coming back

Wanted a quick simple take away for one person. I ordered hot and soup. Some sort of prawn. Not good over priced and the place was empty

I travelled Thailand for a year back in the day so I have a high bar for Thai food and this met all expectations
