Roma Italian Bistro in Minden was established in 2015 and located on Main Street in Historic Downtown Minden, Louisiana. Mike and Denise Sewell, who are natives, bought the business in 2021. Their vision was to acquire a business and successfully develop a hometown atmosphere where everyone could go out and still feel at home. Mike and Denise are good friends with the previous owners, who laid the critical groundwork for a successful business and were afforded the opportunity to buy the business when the owners decided to sell and move out of town. The town of Minden and its residents have thrown all of their support into Roma because it is now a locally owned family-oriented restaurant that creates fun activities for the whole family.

Went on a Saturday evening not many people there. Had the chicken Parm with a side salad . Chicken was tender and moist , a bit thinner than I am acustom to . The only downside is the sauce is way to sweet for my taste. Fresh rolls but plain not garlic. Waiter was great.

The service was excellent! I went alone at a very busy time and they still managed to get me a seat. I ordered the Caprese Salad and Linguine Genovese with added chicken and a fountain drink. I think my bill was like 50 bucks? The food was good, but pricey for what it was. Granted, I did get a lot per dish as the caprese was most likely a table dish. I took quite a bit to go and left happy. If you don’t mind shelling out some dough, this place is great!

Nice looking place but service was slow. Waited for 5 or more minutes at the front while numerous staff walked by without greeting us. Salad was good sized. Lasagna was hot in spots and cold in others. Honestly, it tasted and looked like it was a Stouffers frozen lasagna.

Food was expensive. Ordered the chicken milanese and a side of blackened chicken so my husband and I could share a dinner. The milanese was decent but hardly any past and sauce. What little sauce we did get, was just straight oil. The blackened chicken had sharp crispy edges, was dry, and hard to swallow and wasnt seasoned At All! The only flavor it had was burnt pan! Also the rolls were more like bricks and they didnt bother even putting any butter in the bag.

We came for the Scottish Festival and saw Roma Italian Bistro across the street. It had good reviews so we take a walk between shows to get lunch.
The wife ordered the Shrimp Alfredo while I decided on the Rigatoni Special. Both dishes were excellent, mine came with a side salad as well.
Our waitress, Ella, was on point and very courteous.
All and all a nice experience this nice Saturday afternoon.

A real gem find. Traveling by RV, we like to find nice restaurants for dinner every night. This one is wonderful. A brick building originally a bank, the atmosphere is inviting. Superb service. Our server even fixed a dinner salad to my needs. GF pizza very good. Spaghetti and meatballs excellent. Prices very reasonable. Definitely recommend this for a nicer place to dine.

I ordered fettuccine alfredo on doordash. Their site said it has ham, mushrooms and black olives. None of that was in my dish. I paid $15 for noodles and sauce. Very disappointed. I will not order again.

The food was not worth what it cost. The steak and cheese sub look like it was cooked in the microwave. It is literally stakeums like the ones you can buy at Walmart it comes with French, fries or chips.
