My favorite pizza parlor in town, hands down! There are always smiling and friendly faces here in combination with quality products used in the food. The flavor beats any franchise pizza place without a doubt. As for the prices, it’s unbeatable in terms of quality. Not to mention it is genuine authentic Italian food. Highly recommended and keep up the great work guys. Thanks for being the best in town!

Pizza is 6/10. Slightly above average. I’ve only had their pizza.
Pros: I happen to live very close by, so if I want the easiest possible pizza, I’ll go here. It’s also pretty cheap when compared to other pizzas around, so that factors in as well.
Cons: They aren’t always staffed. I stopped by at 12pm on a Saturday, and there was no one home. I understand it’s a small family shop, so I wasn’t too upset, I just wanted some lunch! The pizza is pretty basic Chicago-area tavern-style pizza. However, the thin-crust is a bit too dough-y, and it wasn’t cooked all the way through. Bad combination. Also their pepperoni has 0 flavor, so I would avoid that. Everything else was pretty standard though.

Recently ordered from Johnny Coco’s after it was recommended to me from a friend. We ordered pizzas, fries & garlic bread. I have 3 teenage boys and it is hard to please everyone but everyone absolutely loves the food! Everything that we ordered was amazing and their prices are amazing. We will be ordering alot more. I just wish they were open on Monday & Tuesday also.

Drove by and saw their sign for $5 slices and decided pizza would be nice for lunch. The staff was very friendly and the pizza was really good. Not to mention the generous portions for the small price. I will eat at Johnny cocos again.

I was excited to try this place because of the yelp reviews, but also because of a couple reviews I saw on Facebook. There were a few reviews on Facebook that said their pan pizza was completely mushy and over sauced. I was going to try them regardless because I want to always see for myself. I ordered one thin crust and one pan. The thin crust was OK. Not my favorite thin crust. But it wasn’t bad. However, the pan pizza was horrendous. I picked it up as soon as it was ready I brought it home and I opened the box and the crust was completely deflated and so mushy and wet, it also looked and felt like it was dunked under water. I put it in the oven to try and crisp it back up for 10 minutes, but it was in edible. I ate one piece and threw it out. I was really disappointed. The sauce was extremely peppery and had some kind of bitter taste to it as well, which most likely means the sauce had gone bad and started to ferment. Gross. Really disappointed since I was looking forward to good pizza on a Friday night.

Have been hearing nothing but good things about this place, so I finally tried it out. I was not disappointed. I ordered a pan pizza, a panzerotti, and and mac and cheese bites. ALL was scrumptious. Staff is very nice too. I will be back to try other items on their menu. It doesn’t show it on the online menu, but this place has a large selection of homemade desserts and Italian ice. Come in and give it a try!

So first – on doordash the picture of the chicken parm looks nothing like what you get. My real problem was the pizza. The Lombard facebook group hyped this pizza up so I was excited to try it. I’ve never said this before about any food I’ve ever had but it was way to much garlic. Almost like the cook tried to sprinkle garlic powder on the pizza and the cap came off. This rating is definitely based on personal taste so I would still say give it a try if you are looking for the right pizza for you in the area because for others it seems to be a hit.

Just enjoyed our first pan pizza from Johnnie’s. It was sausage and cheese and being the pizza conasouer that I am, I’ll give it a 9 out of 10. Only because (maybe I rushed them) the crust could have used another couple of minutes of cooking. But all in all, I’ll be back to try other items on the menu as well.
Welcome to Lombard, Johnny Coco.
