The pizza crust was the same color as unleaven bread.

Look at that slice of pizza. Its Blanche, white, pale faced. If youre from NYC, LA or even deep dish living Chicago its worth thr trip to go here and get a slice juat so you can appreciate how even the worst pizza in your home town is better than this. Its 2/5 stars anywhere else outside of Atlanta. But in the ATL… ‍♂️

So go order a slice for yourself, just so you can appreciate the pizza you have at home.

Alas, this is Atlanta. And in downtown Atlanta, as far as pizza goes, this qualifies as 5/5 stars.

You cannot go wrong with this NY flavor like pizza in the heart of downtown ATL. It had been 10 years since my last time going and it’s still excellent! It has such an organic feel and the pizza is delicious. Prices are in line with inflation but not horrendous. Friendly staff. Just know what you want to order before you get to the front of the line. Will certainly go again.

The cheese pizza is pretty good here, but they sold me a moldy slice of cheesecake 🙁 I paid about $5 for a slice one day, I was hella excited because my sister told me that the cheesecake was good, I got there and ordered one, they told me it was the very last one, I’m thinking I’m lucky. I leave w the cheesecake in hand and something told me to check. I checked it looked like mold on top of it, I go back inside and ask them if it’s mold, they said no and that they make it fresh…I’m like ok cool so I’m tripping. I leave, get to where I’m going and about to eat it. I check again in better lighting, it’s fuzzy furry white and green mold on the sides and bottom of it…I threw it out. Unfortunately I don’t think I’ll be coming back. I could’ve gotten extremely sick or someone else could have….

I went into Rosa’s pizza after being up all night starving. The staff greeted me warmly.even tho I walked in kind of demanding. When I calmed down and got my head together I was able to look at a menu of traditional Italian favorites. I ordered a slice and a calzone with a couple toppings. It was a very good slice and the calzone was packed with flavor. I couldn’t even finish the calzone in one setting, as I chatted with a couple of the employees he told me they have been in business for 32 years. I can see why with great food like this.

This is def a hole in the wall kinda place, as we would say in NY!! The NY pizza vibe was definitely there. I had myself 2 slices a pepperoni and an extra cheese… they definitely did not disappoint. I went in a Friday at about 115pm… the line wasn’t too long, I waited about 10 minutes. I enjoyed my pizza and will be back!!

I like the location set up. In side or outside seating. Fast service and the fact that I have known the owners from Brooklyn New York. It’s real New York pizza.

Gluten free pizza is put on the same racks as gluten pizza. If you have an severe allergy you may want to avoid. Atmosphere is like a NYC joint. Gluten Pizza slices are HUGE. The specials are reasonable and a good bang for your buck.
