I visited Cocina Latina for the first time recently, and I had such a wonderful time! Our server, Alan, was so friendly and I truly loved chatting with him. The tacos on Tuesday are such a good deal that I’ll definitely be back for that and to try some other popular menu items I didn’t get to this time around. Grandma’s special sauce was phenominal!! If you’re looking for a local, immigrant owned restaurant to support during these times, add this one to the list!

Everything about this place is fantastic. The atmosphere, staff, menu and prices all hit the mark. I knew it would good the moment I took a bite of their chips. Perfectly light, flakey and salty. Then the top it off the roasted pork enchiladas are the best I’ve had anywhere, and I order enchiladas at every Mexican restaurant I’ve ever been too. Love the unpretentious, genuine experience and the affordable prices. Couldn’t recommend enough.

Beautiful place, great service. Love that they open the windows and have outdoor seating. Had the chimichanga- great flavor but wish it was at least a little crispy. Drinks are fun and flavorful. Small, cozy restaurant with a big variety of authentic Latin American and Mexican dishes. Everything tasted wonderful. We tried Torta with milanesa (big sandwich with deep fried breaded beef, avocado, cooked ham, hot dogs, lettuce, cheese- feeds 2), the Bandeja Latina (a big plate with thin steak, sausage, plantain, white rice, fried egg, piece of thick bacon, avocado and a home made arepa, made with corn flour) and chicken tostadas ( they come with beans on the bottom and they are topped with lettuce, tomatoes, cream and mexican cheese). Delicious rice/plantain side, with goat stew and a chicken drumstick. Delicious Fajita player served sizzling hot to the table. The server was a relative of the owner, helpful in making a choice. I’ve gone by this place for years, wish I had gone earlier.

My fiancé and I love coming here for date night. We’re almost always seated right away, and the chips have the perfect texture and amount of salt. They’re crispy but not too hard, light but not too soft. The guac tastes incredibly fresh, and the roasted pork enchiladas are out of this world.
