This was quite a treat, our local stores closed some time ago, and we did not expect to find one. My sandwich was excellent, the bread perfect. My wife’s salad was equally delicious, and the service was awesome. A serious step up from the average fast food place, it was worth every cent.

Food was standard for a Schlotzskys. Young lady taking order was friendly and food was prepared quickly. My issue was the inside of the restaurant was hot/muggy like the AC was turned off. My greatest issue was the cleanliness…. floor hasn’t been swept, had to wipe the tables myself, and the drink prep area was pretty gross (look under the drink dispenser).

Highly disappointed because I just discovered that the reason I choose Schlotzkys over other sandwich shops, the selection of breads which is no longer available. I love rye bread and don’t like sourdough, but guess what the ONLY bread they use now? Right, sourdough. This will be the last time I eat at a Schlotzkys. Also, please fire the exec that thought it was a good idea to get rid of the bread selection.

Kaitlyn waited on us for lunch. She was absolutely wonderful! This was my first time at a Schlotzsky’s. She explained everything great. She was patient. The food was fantastic. We will definitely make this an everytime stop on our way home from Dallas when we travel over there.

But the last customers to come in got their food first… our order took too long. And my meal went home for leftovers.
My wife decided to not eat hers and she drove on home.

Our half stop favorite between Dallas and Longview. Can’t beat a Texas original sourdough sandwich. Great staff. Classic sandwich. Great service. …now Cinnabon too!

Schlotzsky’s always good. Nice service and friendly employees! They actually made a mistake and doubled my order. Corrected and we got all right. But they were nice enough to give us the extra sandwiches for free when they could have sold instantly. Great place!
