Our food was amazing, the portions were large. Our server, she was wonderful, had tons of knowledge about the area. We also had the local paper to read while we waited. Best friend ordered his hash browns, loaded. Peppers, onions, mushrooms, cheese, ham and tomato. That made his 12.99 breakfast 20.00. Thats why I didn’t give it 5 stars. The coffee, is SUPER YUMMY!!! They also offer a salad bar for later in the day. We cannot wait to try that!! Oh we are going back for sure!

Staff was really nice, and restaurant was pretty spacious, cute old fashion diner. The service was really quick. The salad bar wasn’t really that great and the food itself was okay. But overall, there isn’t too many restaurant options in Stockton since it’s such a small town.

Sometimes little mom & pop restaurant’s can be pure gems. Not so much here. It’s little outdated inside but that is okay and it was a bit on the warm side. We ordered the French dip sandwich and a patty melt with fries. What we did enjoy was their tumbleweeds which are very thin onion rings. They were quite tasty!

Hashbrowns were a bit greasy, toast tasted like it had margarine instead of butter. Had to ask for a few drink refills, but overall I’d recommend stopping in foe a bite if you’re in the area.

I got a salad at the salad bar. Picked up the plate a piece’s sausage fell of the bottom of the plate. Ordered a hamburger. Bun was hard meat was cold. Husband ordered a hamburger wrap. Small patties wrapped in a tortilla shell. The fries were burnt. The worst food.

Best place in town. We love the staff. They are always high energy and always a positive attitude. Food is amazing and service is quick. They are short staffed and very understanding. Just a good small town cafe to eat with family and friends. I used to go to cravin country cafe and now that I’ve been coming to Christy’s never will I ever go to arcola again their staff is rude and their food ain’t even that good.

I wish the ability to give zero stars was offered. We got there early afternoon. There were only 4 tables of people in the diner. I placed an order for a burger and was given the choice of 3 types of fries, (although considering the order I received, I wonder why I was even given a choice) and I chose sweet potato. 48 MINUTES LATER, I received my burger, along with CRINKLE CUT FRIES THAT I DIDN’T ORDER and no sweet potato fries, although they did offer to make me sweet potato fries, I declined the offer as i didn’t want to sit there waiting for them to arrive another 48 minutes later. The place was not even close to being busy. 2 couples came in after we did and were served 20 minutes before we were. No apologies for our wait or for their inability to get an order correct, just excuses that the cook had filled these three orders backwards. Don’t care what the excuse was, incompetency is inexcusable in a service business. Incompetency with no apologies is unacceptable.
