I had the she crab soup and it was really good. My wife had the clams and linguini. She said it was very greasy and the clams were not flavorful. Crab dip was good. Our server was great!

Nicely located by a Marina so the view is nice. Definitely a little loud in here. We were immediately seated. Took about 15 to 30 minutes to receive our appetizers and main course once we placed our order. Three stars is mainly because of how loud it was and our pizza had red onion even though we asked for no onion and crab dip tasted a little more cheese than crab.

Absolutely recommend Stony’s. Straight up fantastic seafood. The place is a vibe, bit of a pub with some tables about, but lots of bar stools. Seating by windows on the marina is really nice. Great staff there, really did a great job taking care of us. We got a couple appetizers and a sandwich to share, they even split the sandwich and plated each separately with fries and a pickle. Nice! Speaking of which, the flounder BLT excellent. Crab cake app was well done, so tasty and loads of crab. And the firecracker shrimp rocked! Spicy for sure, tasted similar to buffalo sauce, but such good shrimp. Accompanying ranch helps 🙂 Glad we found Stony’s!

Met some friends from work for drinks and I couldn’t pass up the seafood Mac-n-cheese. Menu said it had shrimp, crab and scallops, when it came, I saw some good sized pieces of flaky fish. I checked the menu and it didn’t list fish, but oh well, I’ll eat it. Turns out those chunks were actually lump back-fin crab meat. When they said crab, I thought it was just going to be little pieces of crab, not lump crabmeat. This stuff was like crack! The shrimp and scallops were great too. The pasta was cooked to perfection, firm and not over cooked. A really great cheesy sauce with spinach. I didn’t care about the bread but as I was finishing I thought I would try a little with the sauce and the bread was delicious too. I ate one piece and got the rest to go. I wasn’t going to eat as much pasta as I thought, but it was so good, I couldn’t stop. I still have a good amount of leftovers for tomorrow.
I had the IPA on tap and it was good.
The bartender, Wyatt, was awesome. The bar was full, probably around 25 seats, plus he took care of the entire restaurant. He kept moving, never got frustrated or in the hole. I never waited for a drink, he was on top of it. His barback supported him with glasses, ice and liquor, great team all around.
We will be back.

Back again for a friends luncheon. Really enjoy the location and atmosphere. The food is good and there are plenty of menu options. Our servers were friendly and provided excellent service. Two of us shared a bowl of the shrimp, crab and corn chowder. We also ordered the Newport Salad, Crab Cake appetizer, and two Stoney’s Burgers.
The chowder was served at just the right temperature. The only way to get just a cup was to share it. We were told they have no mechanism to charge for a cup. I was surprised by the amount of potatoes. The few delicious bites of lump crab meat was enjoyable but I never found any shrimp. Served with a packet of oyster crackers a bowl could be a light meal.
The crab cake was okay. It was cooked perfectly but skimpy on crab. The slaw it came with was a nice garnish but not something I would order as a side dish. The remoulade was tasty but there wasn’t much of it.
The burgers were perfectly cooked. One friend enjoyed a cheddar cheese addition. The other Swiss and mushrooms . The fries and onion rings were especially good.
No one had room for dessert!

I truly enjoyed the food here at Stony’s! We started with the oyster Rockefeller, and to our surprise, it was a fried variation served with small toasted bread slices. Our party all seemed to enjoy it. I loved the unique take and have never seen any other place serve it this way. I personally had the scallop risotto, and let me tell you, it’s one of the best risottos I’ve ever had. The scallops were cooked to perfection and paired well with the risotto. My side salad was fresh and served with good runny ranch (Iykyk). My kids had the mac and cheese and pizza. Both were really good, but my daughter wasn’t the biggest fan of the mac as it was a little salty. Pizzas seem to be a good option, especially for the young ones. My significant other had the tuna and seemed to enjoy it. The plate was empty pretty fast. We finished off with key lime pie and the lemon berry cake. Both were good, but I preferred the key lime. The lemon cake could stand to be more lemony, but it’s really good. I just squeezed my lime on it. Drink-wise, I had a mojito and the key lime crush. I loved the crush, but the mojito needed some work – it was all rum and soda water. The only complaint I have was how dirty the bathrooms are. It’s not a pleasant place to have to use the restroom, especially with children. I informed our server, and she was extremely apologetic and said she would let someone know. Unfortunately, even after finishing up dinner and taking a walk around the entire marina, the bathroom was in the same state when stopping by before leaving. Overall, it was a good dining experience, and our server did a great job.

The food and service are great, as long as you’re sitting at the bar. The past couple of times we’ve been there, including tonight, we have been seated at a regular table only to be ignored by the waitress. A short, dark haired gal, wish I got her name. After at least 15 minutes of waiting for just water we ended up moving to the bar to order drinks and food. We love Stoneys! The bar staff is fantastic, food is great, but the waitstaff at the main tables need some work.

Had a business lunch on the patio. Beautiful view of the marina! The waitress was very good and excited about all the dishes! We loved the bang bang shrimp tacos and crab dip! The pizza and calamari were good. We will definitely be back! Cool vibes!

Very weird to see the bathrooms are not in the same bldg. Old place. I could hear but I am doubtful when it’s busy.
