The sandwiches were delicious. You really only need 1/2 sandwich, tots and a drink. But if you are hungry, go for the whole thing!
Our server was really nice and made great suggestions. I had the Starry Night and my partner had the Mona Lisa. Delish.
We also had scrumptious, sugary sweet Cream Soda. Like liquid crack, so good.

Truly an easy-to-miss gem in what can be a bit of a stale Erie food scene when you get past the fancier waterfront dining (outside breakfast, at least). My family stopped by for lunch after traveling from Pittsburgh for a few days getaway to the area. I found this place due to online researching, since it unassumingly sits in the parking lot of the Millcreek Mall.

The many unique and intriguing sandwiches are named after classic art pieces and other bits of artistic inspiration. I had the Van Gogh after the gentlemen at the register mentioned it was a staff favorite- and it lived up to expectations- just a gooey and flavorful mess of fun. My wife had the Starry Night and said it was one of the best interpretations of a reuben she had had. My kids got the Pizza Sandwich and the Penne Mac and Cheese, and both happily gobbled up there choices, and we all enjoyed the well made tots that came on the side.

The restaurant itself has chalkboard tabletops that you can create your own masterpieces on, as well as a pleasant outdoor patio area for nicer days. Couple that with house sodas and lemonade and a friendly and eager staff- and you have what should be a must stop if in the area and craving a really artistic sandwich and ambiance to match.

The food here is incredible! We stopped on a road trip and will be making many future stops. The sandwhich options are super fun, and the quality was very high.

The staff was super personable as well.

The food is always fresh and always delicious. Even when it’s really busy, the food comes out fast. My friend and I went there for lunch the other day. We got Picasso’s Turkey Abstract, Venus de Milo, and a side of Mac n cheese. Would recommend all three of them! Venus de Milo is a great option for vegetarians. I loved that someone (Im assuming was the manager) came around to each table and to see how the food was and thanked us for coming. I think taking those couple of extra minutes to check in with the costumers goes a really long way. Fantastic costumer service! Will definitely be returning!

We stopped here on our way back to Milwaukee from Ithaca, based on Google reviews and my gluten free needs. Absolutely sensational sandwiches. This will now be a regular stop when we’re traveling this route. Customer service was also A+++ with the nicest welcome, friendliest overview of the menu, and super reassuring about how they do gluten free. Thank you!!!

Boyfriend and I are in from out of town to see his extended family and he has always raved about this sandwich shop. Took me there for lunch today and I’m literally going to spend the rest of my life (until we are pack in PA) dreaming about the sandwich I just ate! We got The Starry Night and The Dante, both were great but holy the Dante was YUM. The staff was super nice and it was a chill spot, definitely recommend!

Highly recommend Picasso’s for scrumptious sandwiches! We found this gem at the beginning of our vacation and it was so good that we planned to stop on our way back home. I had the Mona Lisa and it was everything I like on one sandwich! Service is great – we were greeted and explained the menu on our first visit. You’re given a beeper and can find a seat while they prepare your order.
Bonus is that they have GF bread if you are allergic to gluten. Local soda brand. Outdoor patio available. Fun chalkboard painter’s palette tables with chalk inside.

Not your average sandwich place. Far better.

Located as a free standing shop in the Millcreek Mall parking lot near Dick’s Sporting Goods.

I got the Mona Lisa and my husband got the Botticelli. We forgot to order the side of crispy tater tots but those sounded really good.

What makes these sandwiches special for me:
– grilled to perfection kind of like a panini
– the pesto mayonnaise on my sandwich was a treat
– so many great menu items to choose from
– gluten free bread is available

We really enjoyed our meal here. Every sandwich was unique and we split several whole ones so people could try more than one. My son and I agreed The Scream was the one we liked the best. Definitely worth a stop to enjoy their food. Looks like they have an outdoor patio for summer too that would be nice. The local sodas in the fountain drink dispenser were yummy too.
