Went for live music! Nice for a venue. Did not order food but menu looked good. Nice lake view! There’s a large tv above stage which was distracting but otherwise had a very nice time out.

CHECK YOUR BILL!!! This place is a scam straight up. They put one price on the menu, but charge you extra. Our bill was $30 “with tax included on all prices listed on the menu”. That is until they charge you more than the listed price for each menu item AND charge you for individual ingredients in said menu items. Don’t believe me? Look at my receipt vs. the listed prices on the menu. They’re thieves. When questioned the manager just blew me off. Can’t wait for this place to shut down just like all the others that have been here before.

Visited Watertown this past weekend, and my partner and I noticed the Sandbar on the way to our Airbnb. They had live music, so of course we had to stop in—and we actually ended up going twice.
On our first visit, everything was great. Service was fast, servers checked on us regularly (even with the Summerfest crowd and the hot weather), and the live music made for a really fun afternoon.
The second visit wasn’t as smooth. We wanted to sit outside and chose a table with dirty dishes left behind. The server cleared it but didn’t wipe it down, so it was soaking wet. After that, no one came back for 15–20 minutes, even though the place wasn’t busy and plenty of tables were open. When our server finally took our order, it still took another 5–10 minutes just to get water. The view outside was nice, but we got swarmed by mosquitos. As soon as our food arrived, we asked for boxes and the check and left without eating there.
The atmosphere is definitely fun, and our first visit was great, but the second left us pretty disappointed. Might give it another try, but hoping for more consistent service.

While visiting Watertown, SD, we visited the Sandbar twice. Both experiences were great! Service and food were excellent. It was nice to be able to bring our dog on the outside patio while eating. Thursday nights are karaoke, not typically our thing but it was entertaining. Definitely recommend giving this place a try!

Good service. They have a good burger and the taco salad and quesadillas are really good. Good view of the lake while you eat or large lakeside patio to dine on or have a cold beer.

Loved it, service was great, all staff were hard workers! We started with 6 people and ended up with 14 (we weren’t sure how many would join us). Food was very good, beer cold. Great lake views, lots of games inside & out.Sun shades worth the cost! Super clean. I’m from ‘Club 20’ era; wonderful updates!!

Food was not worth what we paid to get it. Ordered for delivery, found frozen food out in the driveway, several hours after ordering. Won’t make that mistake again. Was charged $90. For two delivered pizzas.
