I am so lucky! I just pulled over to adjust my navigation map and ended up in front of this store.
The nostalgic was worth a good look. I went inside to get a bottle of water as the deli lady was finishing assembling a great looking sandwich. It looked so good I had to have one too.
Pastrami on oat bran bread. She makes sure to make it exactly the way the customer wants it. Her and her partner have been running this shop for over 20 years. The guy ids fun to talk to while the deli products stress being made.
That sandwich was absolutely delicious!
Put this place on your list of places to stop.

Came here for lunch, walked in and immediately I felt some type of nostalgia. I am from out of town, this is my first time here. I ordered a pastrami sandwich with everything on it. Man who made my sandwich was pretty sweet he even asked if I wanted a tamale but said no,so instead he offered to let me taste the soup he had. At first I was hesitant but said okay, after trying it, I thought it was delicious! I took an order of that as well. I believe it’s some type of black bean soup. Perfect for this cold, foggy weather! Overall I would definitely come back for lunch!! Everything was delicious!!!

Nice little shop with a variety of staples and hot foods. Lady working there was very nice. Antique style gas pumps out front. Large parking area across the street that worked surprisingly well for camping in RV over night. Evacuation drill signs posted near by.

Came in after kayaking on the river and we were so satisfied with our croissant sandwich and beef taquitos!
They have a nice assortment of homemade goods, you can tell someone is putting love into it. We’ll be back!

My father-in-law and I were on a motorcycle trip heading back to Clearlake. There was traffic for the track backing up for miles. He turned off CA-37, rode straight to Rossi’s. Picked up some beer and a sandwich, rode down to the boat launch and waited out the traffic. The friendliest folk, great roadside pastrami and cold beverage’s. Just a normal day in Cali, I am visiting from Illinois, where this would be a rarity. Highly recommend Rossi’s!

So this places positioning is fantastic. Right before you hit the traffic on 37. The good: they have a bit of everything, cold beer, drinks, snacks, sandwiches even bait. The bad: prices. 3.50 for a slim Jim lol? Reminds me of a Bodega so they get points for that. A good stop of your really desperate to break up the traffic.

I don’t think the picture that was offered was taken from this venue. This is an incredibly small store that used to be a neighborhood service station ( that’s where people used to buy gasoline, have their oil or tires checked etc before everything became self service gasoline only.) Over-priced, poor choices & service. Last & only choice for miles in any direction is the only reason it remains!

Usha and Gary are awesome. They have owned this deli for 20 years and serve the community well with fresh home made food. Try the tamales, samosas, sandwiches, and remember to say hello!
