This place is one of those hidden gems. It has a very farm to table vibe and quality and signature items you can’t find elsewhere. I ordered a few different things between baguette sandwich and a side of soup, to the meat byrek fillo dough pastry. All of which were heavenly. I often can’t indulge in such things being dairy free, but here I could finally enjoy the real thing without a worry. Can’t wait to come back and try out the rest of the menu!

Another local gem in Capitol Hill! My favorite thing to do when I visit my son in Seattle is eat! This quaint deli shop?, located by Seattle U?, serves delicious and crafty sandwiches , breakfast , food and another regional dish called Bryek. This is a sandwich type item that is a Mediterranean in nature. Either savory or sweet. I had a chicken and artichoke baguette which was tasty. Also had a Limoncello and Double Dutch Chocolate dessert and they were sweet and smooth. Go today!

Met a friend here for lunch and was very pleased! They have a great menu with lots of great options, they have breakfast sandwiches as well so it would be a great place to get breakfast!
I got the chicken artichoke sandwich and it was great! I also got an apple Byrek to share with my friend and I loved it!
They have a pastry case too with a lot of great looking treats.
I highly recommend coming and checking this place out!

I started visiting this place quite a while ago and recently began coming back again for lunch. The food is as delicious as always. The only thing that makes me hesitate a little is the price. A single sandwich costs 14 dollars and fries are not included, you have to buy them separately.
Despite that, the young blonde girl who works there is always incredibly attentive and kind. She suggested which dessert I should try, and it was tiramisu. She was absolutely right, it was the most delicious dessert. She also made sure my table was ready and everything around was clean, which I really appreciated. With such caring staff and great food, I always want to come back.

This place is a gem. I came in just looking for a new place to try and ended up liking this place way more than I planned. The sandwich I had was flavorful, and was just made with perfection. Water and juice was good. nd I couldn’t resist trying a slice of cake and it was very good. The salad was amazing too….. Definitely coming back at somepoint.

Nice little family-run cafe right by Seattle University that has breakfast and lunch sandwiches, salads and byreks made like in Albania (description on their cafe wall). We liked the baguette sandwiches. The chicken soup was also hearty. The fries were so good! The baguette is not like the traditional French baguette, but is soft and chewy in texture and much smaller. The outside crust didn’t look the most appetizing to me, but it made up in flavor. Friendly service and there is quite a bit of seating inside this cafe.

Wow. This is the first time Ive had a pleasant enough experience to feel ‘giddy’? Delicious food. Lots of options.
They do well with the atmosphere.
Seriously, come in and try the chicken pesto baguette, or really any of their items.
They pay attention to small details like offering condiments and to go containers self service, as well as sliders for the dish bin drawer. Will definitely be back!

Very nice place for breakfast and staff are friendly. First time to try byrek and order the savory one with beef spinach and tomato. It’s delicious but I think it’s better if it’s serve warm. Love the mascarpone pistachio cake.
