Overall pretty good. Ordered the Fat Mac Sampler. Brisket is nice and tender. Sausage was Jalapeno and cheddar. Didn’t want Jalapeno and does say that on the menu?? Wings were ok but need more flavor/seasoning. Ribs were good.

Wister’s Barbecue was a super yummy Sunday dinner. We got a 1/2 lb brisket with fries, a home wrecker brisket sandwich, and a salad with brisket (can you tell we like brisket?). The meat was super juicy and flavorful. It was tender enough to pull apart with just your fork and I got some great pieces. Compared to some other bbq places like this, I thought this place was way more tender and i liked that there wasn’t too much fat on the meat. The fries were awesome. They were crispy and hot. The salad was very fresh and was a great portion, and we really enjoyed the sandwich.
Originally, we had wanted to order the Nashville Hot Sandwich, which has chicken, but they had run out of some element of the dish. It’s been sold out online every time I go on their website. Also, you can only order 1/4 lb of brisket during lunch. 1/2 lb was a little bit much for me, but I just saved it and ate for lunch the next day. I would recommend take out as opposed to dining in. Some of the tables are a bit rickety, and the dining room closes earlier on Sunday evenings.
All in all, we will definitely be returning for the great food. We’re definitely adding this spot to our local rotation!

I hate to admit I’ve lived local for years but have never came to Wisters until now But damn it was good !!! Picked up @645p on Saturday night….. Ribs were very good, but a tad dry….. get sauce on the side…. Dry rub wings taste great but are dry. Brisket was a little dry as well. The Bacon Mac & cheese was incredible. Cornbread was pretty damn dry although the honey butter was very tasty but didn’t cover the dryness of the bread, sorry!! …. I’m not one to complain about meals but cook for a few minutes less please because it’ll be perfect. Sauces are great. Buffalo is something else . All in all very nice transaction- online ordering was quick and easy and staff was super friendly.

Best BBQ around, as good or even better than Jesse’s. Got the ribs, mac and baked beans and am counting down the days until i can go back! Quick service and everything we got was 10 out of 10 good. A little on the pricey side, but worth it.

Best pulled pork sandwich I’ve ever had and it had more meat on it then I’ve ever seen. Ribs were very tender and fall off the bone! I tried the burger and it’s not my favorite. Clean and friendly atmosphere guys working in the back seem like good dudes! Much appreciated will definitely be back!

So I had high hopes for this but it was very underwhelming, this was my first time eating here and I got the 1 meat platter with coleslaw, Mac, and brisket. The portions I think were nice but we come to the first problem which I think was the price. For 17.99 which at the end became $24 and some change plus a tip which turned into $27 and some change I got no extra add on’s just the platter which came with your choice of meat and 2 sides. I think that is pretty pricey for what I got being lunch but besides that it’s just about $30 right there for one person. Next will get to the food, the Mac and cheese had no flavor at all and was very unappetizing, the coleslaw was good and I’m pretty picky about my coleslaw so I’m not gonna knit pick about how it’s shredded but I’ll move on to the star the brisket. I personally did not like it, it was salty, greasy to the point the salt was overpowering the only positive from that is that they gave you 4 large slices. I don’t think I would come here again just for the price alone but also because I didn’t like the food, however the staff over the phone and in person were very nice.

Wonderful BBQ spot with a big menu! the staff is very nice & helpful. Booths & tables inside to dine at, with a window into the kitchen to watch them work which is pretty neat. Fountain beverages & delicious tea (sweet & unsweet) too!
I’ve tried a bunch of different stuff on the menu (all yummy!) but the desserts & the wings are my favorite.. always amazing! And the sides too.. ok, honestly everything is great! Lol

Found this place on accident and so glad we did. There food was so delicious!! First off their ribs are a MUST!! You will not regret ordering them. I have never had ribs so tender and flavorful seriously!! We also order boneless chicken, chicken wings and half fried chicken. The smoke flavor was amazing the perfect amont. Portions were big definitely stuffed ourselves and had plenty to take home. Staff and owner were super nice and made us feel very welcomed. We can’t wait to go again. Pictures do not do it justice.

Brisket is still good but customer experience is not. They advertise hours as open until 7:30. Arrive at 6:15 and are told at order that only takeout available, no explanation why you can’t eat in the restaurant. Ask to add pickles to a sandwich order and told no “we can only add items to an order, not take away items”??? Did not seem to care about customers or service.

My family and I visited today and I’m so glad we did. Customer service was on point, It’s very hard to find BBQ in PA let alone good BBQ. The staff was very attentive and answered any questions we had and offered suggestions for us. I ended up ordering the pig platter ( I believe,correct me I’m wrong) and was able to try a little bit of everything so I highly recommend this platter. The menu is perfectly designed for everyone and anyone and I love how detailed it was. I knew what was available and what wasn’t based on the screen. For dessert I order a peach cobbler which came out fantastic. We can’t wait to come back and try out the entire menu little by little.
