Alibi Bar & Grill – Salem’s Premier Bar & Grill Experience
Reviews
So we got takeout from the Alibi tonight because I had been craving their broasted chicken ever since I had it the last time. Well tonight’s experience was completely different from the first time we tried them. My broasted chicken was so overcooked and not at all juicy and moist like last time and my onion rings were soggy. My son tried their bacon cheeseburger and fries this time. The burger was not good. I do not recommend it at all and the fries, despite asking for them crispy, were undercooked and floppy. My son who loves french fries, didn’t eat hardly any of his fries and only part of his burger and he can eat a whole Five Guys burger.
And to the staff who asked my husband, “What are you doing?” when he was trying to take pics of the menu. To which you told him, “The menu’s online somewhere.” Somewhere? Well I spent 30 minutes trying to find a full current menu. The only ones I could find were from 3 years and 5 years ago!! And guess what? Those were pictures of your menu too and not posted by you. You know where the menu should be rather than “somewhere online”? Your website that you don’t have. So if you had a menu where it should be, he wouldn’t need to be taking pics of your menu. But don’t worry, we won’t be needing that menu anytime soon.
Our original review:
We got take out from the Alibi tonight since they’re right down the road. My hubby had the cod with side salad and onion rings, which he said was very good (although the cod is small and thin). My son had the chicken strips with fries, and also said they were really good. I had the broasted chicken with salad and onion rings and I was blown away at how moist and delicious the chicken was. If you love chicken as much as I do, I highly recommend. The onion rings were really tasty as well.
The only thing is they charge you a $1 ‘to go’ fee per item rather than a flat fee per order, which I thought was really weird.
Bloody Mary was good, Tea was week (unsweetened), food was okay but, definitely bar food… nothing special (we had clam strips, club house and fish n chips).
We were given a free Keno ticket wile we ate so, that was a nice extra (even though we didnt win…lol).
Clean and bright, well maintained and bathrooms are clean.
A complete sports bar down to the 6-8 tv’s and three pool tables. Decor was bar but warm in tones and bar was tall and sticky free.
I mite stop in again but, maybe not recommend this place to others.
