Tried Sergio’s Pizza on a Friday night and went with the Buffalo Chicken pizza. It was ready quickly and pickup was super easy—great for a busy evening. The pizza had a generous amount of chicken, but it was a little on the dry side. Slightly pricey for what you get, but still a solid option if you’re craving pizza.

Amazing sauce. Get the “Grandma” pizza. It’s a thin Sicilian with a sweeter sauce. It was absolutely amazing. Great staff and service. I’d give the regular cheese slice a 7.9. It was good. But that Grandma pizza is a new favorite and tough to beat.

New place – Overall 2.9/10
This is a typical pizza place that looks clean and organized. The food display at the counter was appealing, but unfortunately, the food quality was quite poor.

Atmosphere 5.1/10
The interior is small but neatly presented. It’s clean, though the space doesn’t have any distinctive features.

Service 5.1/10
The service was okay, with staff keeping the area tidy and presenting the food well.

Cheese Pizza 3.3/10
Advertised as NY-style, but it doesn’t live up to that claim. The crust was too hard, almost like cardboard, and there was more dough than sauce and cheese, which upset the flavor balance.

Philly Cheesesteak 1.2/10
Very disappointing due to the lack of meat and the use of a bulky, dry roll. Even adjusting the meat to one side of the bread didn’t help much. Better bread or toasting could improve it.

Chicken Wings 4.1/10
The flavor was okay, but the wings seemed to have been pre-boiled, which made them soft and chewy instead of crispy.

Value 3.0/10
Given the low food quality, the prices felt too high, making it difficult to see good value in the meal.

I’ve been a loyal customer of Sergio’s Pizza for nearly a decade, but today’s experience was
incredibly disappointing. I ordered a large everything pizza and specifically asked that the crust not be burned and for the toppings to be fully cooked. When I got home, I discovered the opposite as the crust and toppings were both undercooked. In fact, the pizza was cold.

I called and spoke with Isaac, who seemed unsure about how to resolve the issue. I offered to bring the pizza back and suggested they remake it. This meant waiting for 30 minutes for the pie to be remade and enduring Louisburg rush hour traffic. Instead of owning the mistake, Isaac told me that because I had taken a bite, I’d have to pay for a second pizza.

Alternatively, he said I could come back the next day at 11:00 AM to speak with the owner, something I don’t feel a loyal customer should have to do. I gave him my contact information for the owner to call me at his convenience. After some back and forth, Isaac contacted the owner, who chose not to call his customer, but relayed through his employee that “this time” I could bring it back and they would remake it. That phrasing made it feel like they were doing me a favor rather than making good on a subpar product.

I’m not sure what Sergio’s means when they advertise “True New York Style,” but I assumed
that referred to the quality of their pies, not the attitude. Today’s experience fell far short of both.

I love this place. This is one of the few NYC style pizzeria’s that I’ve been to. They had it all, Garlic nots on display all types of pies laid out, just to name a few.. The service was great, and when we had the pizza, hands down the best pizza we’ve had so far in NC. Thanks to the team working there, they have 3 new customers so far.

I’ve been coming to Sergio’s Pizza for a few years, and while the food was usually decent, my most recent experience completely turned me off.

I’m not sure if there’s been a change in staff or recipes, but something is clearly not working. The spaghetti was extremely dry—my wife couldn’t even finish her dish. The garlic knots had no garlic on them at all. The pizza itself was undercooked to the point where I had to put it back in the oven when I got home. To make matters worse, when my son took a bite of his slice, all of the cheese slid right off.

This was a really disappointing visit after being a repeat customer, and bad enough that I won’t be eating there again.

Walking into the building, the smell of the food and the look of the food draws you in.The pizza here is amazing! Me and my husband got a pizza (half pepperoni half cheese) and garlic knots. My daughter enjoyed it, we enjoyed it and will come back again. Definitely recommend!

I’ve been coming to this pizza place for years, and it was good. The last three times I ate at Sergio’s the fountain drink machine had little to no ice and the drinks tasted old, or just didn’t work at all. The pizza has fallen off drastically with taste and considering the lunch special is now 12.00$ for two slices and a drink……. I think this will be my last time visiting .

My family and I have been coming for years and moved out of the state a bit ago and now it’s gone from our Friday night favorite to a make it happen-absolute-must-grab carry-on item to take on a plane so you need to understand it is 100% the best pizza in the entire state accompanied by some of the best staff and friendliest people who make the best handmade hand sauced hand tossed hand everything pizza you could possibly imagine. If you have not tried it yet, can you even say you love pizza?

Was looking forward to trying some homemade pizza and not the typical chain pizza. Sadly it was a poor experience. Waited awhile for a whole pizza we ordered (fresh mozzarella and tomato) and when we received it, crust was room temperature and toppings were not cooked at all and cold. Looked like they had took toppings off a precooked pizza and put our toppings on it.
