I want to give this place 5 stars because 1 or two of the staff are decent. But there is 1 female staff member who might be racist ( I hope I’m wrong). I’ve been to this place three times, and each time this same staff member refuses to serve me or acknowledge me, while others who come after are served promptly. I may look like some foreigner to her, but I’m a veteran. But no matter what you look like, everyone should be treated with respect.
Either way, it’s bad business to have employees like this. Because I like to order alot of food. And I’m a big tipper. I’ve sat waiting for service for 15 – 20 minutes each visit, thinking if this place wants my money or not. And each time I sit there waiting I think, at least I’m watching the game for free.
I’ll try this place one more time just to check the vibe. If i have the same experience with the same female bartender, this place will no longer have my business and generous tips.
Attention Players Sports Pub don’t let possible racist employees hurt your business.

The food here is great every time I come here. This is a perfect location to play darts and have a drink. Their other location has the pool tables.

Players Sports Pub & Grill has the beat food in the area. Chef Tyler makes a killer steak that will blow your taste buds away. One of the best steaks I have ever had! Can’t wait to come back and try more dishes. Fun atmosphere as well! Five Stars! Highly recommended.

A Bar for Nebraska fans probably 5 star for any Husker fan, including raffles on Saturday Football games. If they would have turned on the Dodger game as they said they would it would have been 4 stars .

This review is for the location on Sunrise Blvd (lower Players). I would rate zero if it were an option and if it wasn’t for the food as well as one female bartender that kind of saved it. So! I’m a customer but have also been in customer service industry (food hospitality/Bar) all my life and know what good service is suppose to look like! I came here approximately 6 years ago and it was a decent bar. I have been recommending this place to customers at my job as a place to check out because it’s nearby. Then! …today stopped in after a long absence and sheesh….I know it’s a bar but still a business and the customer service was lacking to say the least. Zero eye contact, felt awkward to even sit at the bar like we were in the way and not wanted there. It was busy but not to the extreme, to be precise…12 customers at the bar including myself and one friend to be split between 2 bartenders. Managed to wave the bartenders down for 1 drink each (would have stayed for more if the service was better) and some food. The male bartender looked upset and a cherry picker for customers. The female bartender was actually sweet and kind and even tended to us when we were ignored by the male bartender, (I won’t mention his name). However, she was also not as aware/attentive with her customers either. ♀️ The food was actually pretty good, typical bar food but the cook/chef managed to do a very good job, was flavorful, and delicious! They also pour heavy! (At least 2oz of liquor in a cocktail, the average in CA is 1.5 oz some bars even do 1.25 oz). Which is great for a lot of us that like to feel like we’re getting our money’s worth and enjoy a good strong drink! That’s really all I have to say about this location, went to upper Players (on Fair Oaks) a few minutes before and it was a completely different experience, the door guy was kind and funny but still very much so doing his job properly/accurately. The bartenders on FairOaks were very attentive, interactive, like catering to you even and looked happy like their life wasn’t completely miserable lol. The atmosphere was lively and a good group of people. Not bashing the business as a whole, just an honest review for the customers, go to Players Pub on FairOaks! I personally will not be returning to Players on Sunrise Blvd or recommending anymore to others seeking a place to hang out, but you feel free to give it a try to see if they make any improvements. Cheers!

My experience could’ve been better, but this place has potential and seemed like they were understaffed when we visited on a Sunday night. The service was ok; the bartender saw us arrive and join our group about an hour after they had been there, and took our orders promptly. It took a bit longer than expected to grab 2 beers. The checks were also completely wrong, but he apologized for it. For food, I had the deluxe combo, which had onion rings, fries, chicken tenders and wings. The fried foods were fine (hard to mess those up), but the wings were not cooked long enough and were lukewarm. For $20 it was fine; it was more food than I could finish, but not the highest quality. The atmosphere was what you’d expect for a dive bar-dim lighting, quiet conversations throughout, and plenty of TVs for sports. I think they need to hire a few more people for Sunday evenings, because they are a sports bar, and that’s when NFL games are on.

Great service overall. Great service from all but one server, who is consistently bad. Fun place to watch a game. Karaoke 3 nights a week brings in a fun crowd. Food is surprisingly good for a bar. Bartenders are AMAZING. They mix incredible drinks and are highly entertaining.

This where my alumni group meets to watch games on TV. We have tried other spots in the area that don’t measure up. The pub food here is pretty elite when it comes to burgers/sandwiches/ nachos/fries etc.
They will typically put your game on the big TV if arrange it in advance or ask nicely. And the environment is pretty typical sports bar–it can get a bit noisy when it is full. The smaller TVs are a little hit and miss for quality.
The service is generally on point. I would add that they even bought us shots after our team had a big win on one recent Saturday. That’s rewarding our patronage!
