Stopped for lunch. Coney dog combo and chicken strips with cookie dough ice cream for the two of us. Coney dog was really good using homemade tavern meat. The hot dog was split and grilled. The fries needed salt as none on them or on the table. Chicken strips and ice cream were good.

I went to the bolt and got a large malt and my wife got a small and in the picture 1 is suppose to be a large and the other a small obviously. I ask them about it and the girl yelled inside saying we were complaining and the owner come up to me almost aggressively trying to make a argument of it. So based on how the worker saying we were complaining when we asked a question and the way the owner reacted to it, I believe I’m not the only one that has brought this to there attention. Not going back because of the obvious not a real large and the atmosphere.

So I wanted this to be a great experience but unfortunately the chilli cheese dog and chilli fries just were not good. I like how the hot dog and bun was grilled but the squirt cheese and the disgusting chili used just ruined it for me on both items. I’m a huge fan of both of these comfort foods so I was excited about getting to experience them since I haven’t had either in awhile. The staff were friendly and helpful and the place was busy. Unfortunately not sure if I’ll return.

We stopped here on our way through town, the food was good. Excellent tenderloin, good fries and the kids loved the alligator ice. Service was friendly and food was cooked to order. We will definately stop again on our way to the lake.

Excellent food for a tiny place off the highway. We’re from Omaha and we’re driving through when we found this gem. The grilled chicken sandwich is delicious and you can’t leave without ordering a marshmallow shake; to die for!

Great food and great service! There are tons of options on the menu for such a quaint place. If you get the chance, stop in for a hot meal or a sweet treat or both! Highly recommend!
