First time being at this location and it was a great experience. The waiter was such a sweetheart. She was very attending, always smiling and made sure we had out coffee every 10 minutes. I did not catch her name but she has pinkish/red hair. The food was amazing, the coffee was better then expected. On top of that, the oldies music really boost the atmosphere. I would definitely be going back. Highly recommend this place for breakfast.

Stopped by on our way through Fresno and was surprised by how good it was! The staff was all really friendly, especially our waiter. She took good care of us. The food was really good – our omelets had a lot of flavor and the burgers were also impressive. Even the buttered toast that they give with breakfast was amazing. Definetely stop by for breakfast!

Love this cute little dinner. The atmosphere is cozy. The decor is a lot of 1950 memorabilia. Menu selection is expansive, and the titles of the dishes are too cute. Food is delicious and made fresh to order. My husband absolutely loved the milksake. The waitress was sweet & helpful. My husband and I are going to make Chubby’s a regular spot for eating out. Can’t wait to go again and try something different from the menu

I have previously had great food here but today I ordered a breakfast burrito to go. For almost 22 dollars all I got was a ton of bland mushy potatoes ICK! HORRIBLE. Not even wrapped well. Fell apart from too many potatoes. Inedible!

Great service here. Everybody here smiles and says hello. It’s been this way for years. I think breakfast is served all day. Weekday special is a deal! Clean, old 50’s diner feel, complete with 50’s music. Counter seating and outdoor seating. They allow pets outside. The soldier boy is solid, plus their burgers are excellent too!

I can see why Chubby’s diner is so lauded.
The atmosphere is wonderful and truly a throwback to a simpler time. I suspect many of the decor in the diner is original.
There was two tables available in side when I stopped here for lunch and several of those round cement table/seat combos on the outside.
I chose to eat inside, it felt a little cramped but it’s also got that cozy feeling.
My server, Lily, as very attentive and offered my food up with a smile.
I ordered the Philly Steak sandwich and thoroughly enjoyed it. I usually don’t like thick cut fries, but the fries here are different and I managed to finish them all.
Stop by for lunch, breakfast, or any other time. There’s a reason this place is so popular.

After years of living in Fresno me and my wife finally decided to give this a place a try. when we walked in we immediately noticed how small the place is and no one was at the host stand so naturally I grab 2 menu and headed to the bar.
the server was nice a helpful as we mentioned this was our first time here I learned they DON’T have turkey or beef breakfast meat ONLY PORK or turkey meat for a sandwich I ordered the duke of earl and my wife ordered the western steak omelette. about 5mins after placing a order I noticed they had a microwave joking I said to my wife what if that’s what the use to cook our food sadly it wasn’t a joke. I watched as they cooked my steak in the microwave and put it on the grill for 2mins and plate it to be served as seen in the photos below I didn’t even touch my plate as for my wife she started off strong but that quickly ended when she noticed the texture of the steak in her omelet without fussing or any complaint we smiled and payed our bill in full and decided to go to Chick-fil-a
