You’ve got to be kidding me!! I live in Mobile and was up in Hattiesburg on a job. I love Chinese food and Mobile has several excellent buffets. I saw this one and thought it looked like a nice place to try. Boy, was I wrong! The worst Chinese place I’ve ever been to in my 67 years. First, Styrofoam plates and plastic forks?? C’mon! The pandemic is 5 years past. For almost 20 bucks, I didn’t get real plates or utensils. Second, the people here look like they were vaccinated with pickle juice. I don’t think I got a smile from anyone, from the cashier to the server, to ANYONE. I don’t recall hearing anyone saying “Thank you” to me. Then, third, the food. Absolutely terrible. I’ve had better Chinese food from Walmart or Winn Dixie in those little dinner packages in the frozen food aisle. I couldn’t even finish the plate that I had made from the Mongolian grill. Tasteless. It was not prepared right at all. I can’t tell you one dish that I had that was good. I can safely say that this place was the worst Chinese place I have eaten at and that says a lot since I’ve been eating Chinese food since I was 10 years old. YUCK!

When I last went, it was demanded that I pay before I was seated and served. As I had never before been asked to do so when going to a buffet, I was offended. However, I was also quite hungry for a sushi buffet, so I acquiesced and ate there. I did not leave a tip because I should not be asked to open my wallet twice for one sitting.
The food was adequate and the waitress was reasonably quick in keeping my drink topped up, but she appeared to be ill, which bothered me. I didn’t get sick afterwards, though, so it must not have been too bad.
In conclusion, the food is fine, but I do not intend to return for the reasons mentioned above.

It had been MANY years since I had been here due to it just being not very good. This last visit was PHENOMENAL! I have absolutely nothing bad to say and will most definitely be returning. Price is about $8-$10 CHEAPER per person and much better than the normal place.

Price was too much for the quality of food that was served. All food was bland or foul tasting and much of it was downright disgusting. Some of the things eaten were hard and didn’t taste let alone smell like what you were meant to be eating. My first and only time ever gonna be here. I literally threw up a majority of what I was able to eat from this distasteful horrid selection in the parking lot. Oh and to top it off we were served using the best in “fine china” Styrofoam plates .

Decent buffet. Probably not my favorite buffet is compared to the other two Chinese buffets in Hattiesburg. I got to go and unfortunately they don’t pay by the pound. Have a decent selection but I’d rather go elsewhere.

Ok, we were in town and over by the mall so we gave City Buffet a try and WOW…. they have a serious spread on Sunday… no joke, they had delish chicken on a stick, seasoned REALLY good and their coconut shrimp made me wanna cry like a newborn it was so yum…
They had sushi too & I noticed they also had a good selection of fries & pizza for the kids…
The place is huge too & really clean…service is spot on and I’m not gonna lie, they should’ve weighed me in and out…cause I threw back the grub…
Highly recommend!
