Loved this place. Went here on Christmas Eve and had the best meal ever and best service ever! Went for the Wagyu steak and lobster special and it was absolutely amazing! We got the opera cake, white chocolate creme brûlée and the bread pudding for dessert. My favorite was the opera cake!

Dinner was incredible!! Huge compliments to the chef! The steaks were cooked perfectly and the food came out hot and fresh!
The atmosphere is normally amazing but there was a pretty big party in there that was incredibly loud and obnoxious. When you are spending that much money, you would like to be able to enjoy your food.
Service was good but a little slow. It was a new person so understandable.

Had Molly for a server and she was amazing. Very knowledgeable on the menu and sold us on the special that was to die for. Our favorite meal during our time in Breckenridge. Will def be coming back when we return to ski!

We had a fantastic dinner at Salt Creek Steakhouse in Breckenridge. The standout of the night was the miso glazed black cod — absolutely amazing!! Easily one of the best fish dishes I’ve had in a long time. Salt Creek is the perfect spot after a day on the mountain, with great food and excellent service. Definitely a place we’ll return to on our next trip to Breckenridge.

We had an excellent experience here. I’m usually hesitant to order steak in smaller towns, but the filet mignon was absolutely amazing. Perfectly cooked and full of flavor.

The salad was fresh and crisp, which was a great start, and honestly every dish we had was incredible. On top of that, the service was the best we experienced during our entire three day stay in Breckenridge. Attentive, friendly, and spot on without being overbearing.

I’m genuinely surprised this place doesn’t have a higher rating. They truly deserve it and we would not hesitate to come back.

Perfectly cooked steak. Beautifully seared, tender, and full of flavor. The portions were generous, and the staff was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming.

The Elevated Spritz is a must-try. A delicious champagne cocktail that’s light, refreshing, and perfectly balanced. We’ll definitely be back! My family had a great time.

We arrived here around six o’clock in the evening on a Monday and jumped on the waitlist right before arrival with only one party ahead of us. When we arrived, there was no wait and we were seated immediately;however, it seems like if you have a larger party, say 5 or more, you should absolutely make a reservation.
The staff here were cordial and attentive if a little slow but that may have been due to staffing issues because of the heavy snow falling.
I had the Chef’s cut for that evening which was a 6oz filet mignon stuffed with blue crab cake and topped with lobster pieces and I upgraded to a side of skillet mac and cheese, my son had the 8oz filet mignon with mashed potatoes and some vegetables. Both steaks came out perfectly medium rare which was the temp we ordered and they tasted delicious. My crab cake stuffing was spot on although I think they could have spared a couple more lobster pieces in the steak topper. The skillet mac and cheese was very good. For desert, we split the brownie w/ ice cream because the waiter said it was good for two…it’s not. I could have eaten that thing twice over by myself, lol…so just FYI.
There is a bar on-site and I think if there is a wait then heading to the bar upstairs is probably the better option as the wait area is miniscule. The ambience is good here but it is a bit of a loud atmosphere, which we prefer, so not knocking it, just so ya know.
There is a public parking lot nearby but it’s an easy walk being located right on the main drag.
We definitely recommend this place since the food was very fresh and we had no negatives while dining here.

Our experience was exceptional from start to finish. The hospitality was genuinely warm and welcoming. The atmosphere struck the perfect balance between cozy and elegant. And the food was outstanding: beautifully prepared, full of flavor, and clearly made with care and high-quality ingredients. Salt Creek Steakhouse delivers on all fronts, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit.

Honestly, I had a very mixed feelings about this restaurant. So , this restaurant is pretty pricey, I expected delicious steak since it is a steakhouse and it was not cheap. What we got was bland ribeye steak that was served with raw baked potato. We ordered our kids medium plus prime steak. They served medium rare steak with bulk of fat on top that wasn’t even melted. My two kids barely ate it, they were disgust to eat it. The server was so busy, that she didn’t wait to ask and see if we were satisfied with our steak. We had to call her to ask for the bill and complain about that steak. She did gave us some discount for that steak though. I’ll tell you this, this steakhouse was not better than chain outback steak house . Also we ordered burratina salad. I’m fan of salads and was excited to try something new, this salad was super unseasoned , only slices of bread with pesto on it was good from that salad. The whole experience of this place was very disappointing for me. I’ve tried better steaks in cheaper places. I’m still confused why this place was packed with people . Sorry, that I posted half eaten food, forgot to take pictures on time.

Wonderful dining experience! Highly recommend making a reservation. They get very busy but in an organized manor. The Prime Rib Egg Rolls for an appetizer were a delightful combination of a crispy outside with a tender bite of steak inside. The side of au jus and horseradish sauce elevated the dish. The Wild Boar Bolognese combined pasta with a unique bolognese sauce. The tender ground boar (not gamey) is followed by a slight bacon flavor that added depth to the dish. This generous dish also makes great left-overs. My new discovery of the evening was the Spiked Chia. Absolutely delicious if you like Chia Tea. This hot beverage is served with a dollop of whipped cream.
