What a gem of a place. It’s so hard to find a decent Italian restaurant that has an Italian chef too. Family run and nothing is too much for the friendly front of house staff. We will definitely be back and will also be telling all our friends.

I went for the first time today. It was a very cold day, but the restaurant was warm & welcoming. 5 of us ordered a different meal & we all agreed the quality of the food was absolutely delicious.

2 or 3 stars.. Sat down for 25 minutes waiting for our first drinks order to be taken before finally raising my hand to flag over a member of staff. Put our food order in at the same time and waited nearly 45 minutes for the starter none of which were a complex dish. Happily the mains came out swiftly after the starters were finished and all were tasty. Portion sizes were ok although half the table felt were on the smaller side. Had to flag passing staff down again for drinks having waited with empty glasses for a long time. Perfectly happy with the non-hurried Italian-way giving time for conversation but that’s normally accompanied by drinks at least. Staff were not attentive although perfectly friendly and welcoming. Overall the food and drinks were reasonably priced and tasty.
