My partner and I had a lovely valentines meal. The food was excellent, the flavours were as rich and deep as usual and our server Victoria was lovely.
The unseen highlight were the cocktails invented by Dastaan’s resident mixologist Yash, he is exceptionally knowledgeable and quite frankly has created some of the best cocktails I’ve had!
It was fascinating talking with Yash about his creative process and his inspirations. It is truly a pleasure to see him being able to express himself creatively
Do yourself a favour and try the espresso martini it is creamy and to die for.
Also, the tamarind tiki cocktail was amazingly smooth and had a lovely sweet mango taste. Finally the spicy kokum margarita must be tried by all, an amazingly subtle drink that is not overpowered by the taste of tequila.

We came on a Tuesday evening and there was a decent amount of people in the restaurant for mid-week. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Food was delicious! We had the tandoori squash and the duck & chicken kebab to start and then the fish curry and the paneer butter masala for mains with pilau rice and a peshwari naan. Alongside a beer and a cocktail, the bill came to £80 which we thought was very reasonable for the quality of food and the service. We’d certainly come back.

Been a good few times and always had friendly service, very very good food and thoroughly enjoyed it.
It’s clean and always felt a step above a standard Indian restaurant albeit with a price tag to match, but still feels worth it.
I class it as a very welcome and needed addition to adel which was lacking a decent restaurant for years.
Parking is easy round the back but on street nearby is easy too. Dietary requirements seem to be catered for nicely too.

Our experience wasn’t upto our expectations. We ordered tandoori Tikka for starter – it was quite flavourful but we found the quantity was less – seeing the prices were high. Daal Makhani – was just okay. Chicken Makhani was also just fine – it didn’t have any rich flavour of chicken makhani/butter Chicken. Third dish we had was Lamb Roganjosh – it was below average. Curry had no taste.
Not sure if the food was meant to lack flavours or was it meant just to be made and served for white population. Portions were small – compared to the prices.

Really nice interior, great food, great drinks!
The restaurant is very modern and the staff are friendly and attentive. The drinks were great, we tried a few cocktails. In particular all the drinks with mango were amazing, mango margarita wasn’t too sweet which is the way I like it.
Curries are complex and rich, and the starters are great.

Went there with a friend. Heard a lot about this place, I’m always weary of posh places when it comes to food. So from the moment we walked in to when we walked out the experience was great the lamb chops were cooked to perfection the curry’s were great the dessert was fabulous. I would definitely recommend a visit

It was an absolute delight from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the staff and manager Yash were incredibly attentive and inviting and make us feel truly welcomed.
I have been to many Michelin restaurants in London and Daastan was truly exceptional and better than any Michelin restaurant’s in London. The food was exceptional, every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavors. You can tell the ingredients are fresh and that chef puts real passion into every plate. I especially loved the amritsari fish, lamb chops, chilli chicken and Bhindi.
Overall great experience. It’s a must visit restaurant and I will be definitely returning soon!!

I was expecting good food and drinks for the amount of price they are charging but it was waste of money . We ordered 2 cocktails carrabian sunset and Dastaan Ice tea wasn’t worth paying £9.50 for each.
Beetroot tikki was OK but Ajwani Paneer tikka starter wasn’t good.
In mains we order paneer butter masala and that was waste of money .Taste like paneer added in tomato puree £14 pounds it was.
Very disappointing.
Never recommend again.

Lovely food and experience. We felt the food was authentic Indian food. We loved the starters and the light naan. The chickpea curry could’ve had more spice but it wasn’t bad. Will certainly be returning.
