Probably should have been concerned when I was one of 2 people in this restaurant at 7:30 am. It looked great, but the hash browns and biscuits were ice cold, as if they were pre-made and directly out of a fridge. After sending it back, it was put in a microwave whole so the over easy eggs were no longer over easy, but over hard. I definitely have higher expectations of high end breakfast joints with a $20+ breakfast. I guess I’ll stick to First Watch or local diners in this area.

We recently had the opportunity to explore a new breakfast restaurant out of curiosity, and we were very pleased with our experience. Upon entering, we were taken by the clean, modern atmosphere, and we received a warm greeting. The food was exceptional and truly satisfying. There was minimal wait time during our visit, as it was not particularly busy. The service was attentive and commendable, and we look forward to returning in the future.

This was our first time at Scramblers, and we visited the Toledo West location. The restaurant was spacious and clean, making a great first impression. My husband went with the mini classic breakfast, which came with a choice of bread, pancakes, or French toast. I opted for the open-faced smothered croissant with grits—it was unique and absolutely delicious. I think we’ve found our new go-to breakfast spot near the hotel!

By the time we arrived the parking lot was completely full and we didn’t think we would get a seat. Once we arrived they found us a seat rather quickly. The food here is fantastic and the service is great! I had a seasonal dish Poutine with fries ,gravy and scrambled eggs, my daughter had the Surf’s Up.

met our friends here for breakfast and we’ve never been (we’re from out of state). My sister is local and made it seem like they weren’t great, but we were pleasantly surprised! The food was delicious and they have a lot of options for everyone. My husband is already wanting to go back.

Even though there were three people standing behind the counter, it took us more than 5 minutes to get seated. On a busy Sunday morning, there was no coffee until we had been seated 10 minutes. Once we ordered, the order came out one plate at a time at 10-minute intervals. My husband went back to see where his eggs were and they were sitting on the counter to be delivered but the wait staff was standing around talking. The waitress tried to assure my husband that the eggs were warm by touching them. Then she said she didn’t touch them and she would never touch a customer’s food. Eventually they did make fresh eggs for my husband and instead of apologizing the waitress asserted that she didn’t touch our food. We will not be returning.

Came in for my wedding anniversary today with my husband and it was the first time he has ever been here before and the experience was so terrible that neither of us will ever be back in. The waitress was very impersonal, she ignored us the entire time we were there. She only came to our table 3 times total before my husband asked for a check and we had to stand up and ask a different waitress that was at the counter to check us out because our waitress was ignoring us the entire time we were there. After she took our order instead of bringing our food out as it was finished she brought everything out all at once and my husbands food was cold which he couldn’t even complain about because no one ever came over to check with us about our meal. It was very obvious from the moment we stepped foot in the door she didn’t want to help us and tried to give us to her coworkers who told her that -she -was the only one with open tables. And we were put on the other side of where her 1 other table was. So it sounds like she is either lazy or isn’t well trained because the majority of the time she wasn’t even on the floor she was in the kitchen or out of view in the back. Plus it was so loud in from people talking in a small space that we could barely hear her talking and kept having to ask her to repeat herself.

I was very impressed with the food. I was not expecting the large portions either. I was very pleased with the food and yes I will come back. As you notice with the other reviews, the service was ‘meh.’…that is the only drawback so far.
The hostess and waitresses seemed like they didn’t want to be there.
Our waitress was good but only checked on us once , (we waited a while for her to come serve us) , I also watched guests come in and worker’s walked past them without greeting them (it was not busy at all).
I am in the service industry so I am extremely understanding, I know there could be different reasons for what I saw. Other than that, I am happy to know I have a new breakfast spot here in Toledo. Prices are very reasonable especially being located in the food competitive Westgate area, again you will have plenty to take home for leftovers and there is more to choose from if you decide you don’t want breakfast or brunch.
