Tasty food, had to wait awhile to sit down and get served; it was an evening on the weekend though and many people were coming in to pick up takeout.
Great price – $13.50 for each dish.

Hands down the best Thai restaurant in the Sacramento area. I’ve been going here for over ten years. The customer service is impeccable and they really take care of everyone. Food is always delicious and the price is affordable!

This is a very nice restaurant and feel like home. We had to take some back home because we’re so full. I’m Thai and I definitely recommend!!

Due to high ratings we gave this restaurant a try since we were close by. We were very excited but I can see that my husband was ignored when he was trying to talk to the server guy (owner?). But the server guy was very friendly to regulars I supposed. Service was good with the girl server who refilled our drinks and took away our empty plates so we have more room on our table. She was friendly. The food…was okay I’ve had better so I was a bit disappointed. It just lack a bit of flavor. We did like how fast our foods were made. I like the thai tea and chicken satay the most. Lao papaya salad was better than a lot of thai restaurant’s Lao papaya salad I’ve tried but like usual it’s not crunchy enough. The boat noodle was okay I’ve had better. I do want to try their fried fish dishes next time if we happen to stop by.

Great food and amazing servers. Went there with a group of friends and we had great time chatting and really enjoyed the food. Our server was very friendly as well.
I asked for duck curry and they recommended to get alligator meat. It was my first experience eating gator meat but definitely would try again.
Both the meats duck and alligator were off menu and our servers way if recommending the same was quite amusing as well.

My second time eating at House Of Thai Rice & Noodles… time to leave a review.
I brought my brother in law here for his birthday to try some delicious Thai food… and sure enough they didn’t disappoint at all.
We ordered a few meals from soups to rice and noodles and everything we ordered was very tasty.
Service is fast and the lady that took our order was very nice and helpful…. gave us a couple suggestions what to try.
Inside is nice and it can get a little busy on weekends especially Friday & Saturday. The area where the restaurant is located in North Highlands can get a little weird but otherwise all was ok.
My final take:
Food 5 Stars
Service 5 stars
Location 2 Stars

Love this spot! It’s going to become my go-to Thai spot. I’ve ordered take out and eaten in and both times, the food and the service were amazing. Servers are so incredibly kind and attentive and the food is just wow (and so affordable!!!). I’ve loved everything that I’ve ordered and can’t wait to keep trying new dishes.
