We started having a lovely time on Irish Weekend until the bartenders and fake manager ruined our weekend with their unprofessional, condescending, rude, down right wrong conduct. My husband put his debit card up on the bar right away and the bartender took the card to the register. After the 1st band ended, the bar cleared out. We were saving seats for our friends who wanted to eat with us who were on their way. The bartenders rudely (with attitude) asked us not to save seats. We understand bar etiquette, no one was waiting for a seat at this time and we would have given up seat if needed. We asked to check out after being treated so disrespectfully. Our card was missing! The staff insisted they never took our card. We both remember precisely that they in fact did. Our card was charged from this seedy establishment. We were very upset and asked for help, the fake manager continued to berate us and yell. Patrons looked at us like we did something wrong! We were inconvenienced by not having a debit card that evening, publicly humiliated, and had to go to the bank to dispute charges placed on our card after being misplaced and obtain a new card. We went back the next day to show they indeed had our card initially proven by an inaccurate transaction on our card. We calmly asked for an apology. The fake manager refused to admit their mistake. The facts are that they took our card, proven by transaction at bank and charged another party’s bill to our card. The fake manager yelled and cursed at my husband. What a shame to employ incompetent, angry, unhelpful employees. We were enjoying the live music and the potato soup was delicious. The food looked amazing; however, we would never frequent here again. Fake manager said “bring it on!” After cursing at us. *”Fake manager” because I could find a better service at Mc Donalds. No disrespect to McDonald’s. Be ware of your finances here!

We came in from out of town over spring break. The place was busy but not packed. The food was tasty and delicious. The staff, while friendly, were overwhelmed. They were very slow. Management should have planned better.
We got the Sheppard Pie, Mac and cheese, and Cobb Salad

CASH ONLY! CASH ONLY! Which is normally a turn off for me but wildwood gets the pass because the cash only places are worth keeping the dough on you.
The bartender was super cool and I wish I caught his name. Happy hour is the time to be there! Especially for their drinks. You can get about six drinks for 20 bucks before tip and yes, you better tip >:(!!
The food here is basic bar food but offered a lot of variety to keep it fresh. Their mango habanero sauce is really good for their wings! The chicken parm sliders were good and worth the money. Again, you can order both for about 20 bucks.
I was really satisfied with the service, food and drinks. I dislike cash only places but Old City Pub is a wonderful exception! I love the live music scene, the guests, the drinks and the food.
Can’t wait to come back for more!

Love old city pub! They always have great live music which makes for an awesome atmosphere! Large menu for food with a lot of great options. They are open year round but are closed a couple days during the week in the winter. Definitely recommend whenever you’re in the area

We ordered the blackened scallops for an app. And by the picture, you can see we ate it fast! So good. Then I ordered the crab cakes. Very very tasty! Definitely a place to return in the future. Super clean! And very friendly

Good solid food. It was busy so the service was a bit slacking, which definitely happens when you’re packed. The atmosphere was amazing, live band playing, flags hanging, looks like a real Old City Pub. Plenty of beers to choose from.
Additionally, this is a Veteran-owned establishment! We’ll be back to support this vet and those employed by him.

Beer is cold and the wings tasted good. It took a little bit to get the wings, but I figured that is because they were making them fresh.
The only reason they don’t have five star that’s because the place has an odor when you walk into it because it has a lot of old hardwood in it. Hardwood absorbs the odors of its surroundings over time.
The service was also excellent.
Would I recommend it? Yes.

I ate here Saturday May 27 2023. Ordered garlic parm wings, chicken tenders and fries. The tenders and fries were great. My wings on the other hand, were bleeding close to the bone. I didn’t notice until I got back to my room and heated up the 6 wings I had left from my 10 piece and seen blood dripping out of the two drum pieces. I ripped the meat off the bone and confirmed they were not cooked throughly. The band was great (Bar None) , the atmosphere as well as the service from the bartender. The only let down was my under cooked chicken wings
