We had an okay experience at Pho Viet. There are limited options for vegetarians and what we got didn’t have as much flavor as we would have liked. I think if we weren’t vegetarians our score here would be higher as the meat eaters amongst really adored their food and it looked a lot more flavorful. (Specifically the Pho broth.)
We started with tofu spring rolls…lettuce wrapped with a little dipping sauce…tasted fresh but not a whole lot of interesting flavor.
I got the Pho Dau Hu Vegan…a hearty dish, even the smaller size, but the vegan broth really didn’t bring much to the palate. I added some of the chili crunch sauce at the table to make it more interesting.
My wife thought the Com Xao Chay was good…tofu sort of cooked like chicken, mixed with vegetables and a side of rice. I had a piece of the tofu and it was a little more like overcooked tofu than a chicken or faux meat texture.
We were seated fairly quickly when arriving which was nice since the place was pretty busy. Service was good but not particularly fast.
I wish there were more interesting vegetarian options and that the flavors of what we did get stood out more.

I love pho and this place doesn’t disappoint. First time having a banh mi (sandwich). It is so delicious. I had a small number 23 pho with steak and meatballs.
I added all the extras including chili oil and it was delicious. So full I didn’t finish the banh mi. Two people should eat that sandwich with pho. The atmosphere is wonderful and the staff is warm. This place is great and I’m going back!

This place is spot on!! I got the #24 and it was great. The broth had a flavor that was unlike any flavor broth I have had. It had a sweeter taste to it and I loved it. The very well may be my new favorite pho spot!!!

Small mom and pop Viet place. Not that many out here in the scv. I appreciate them being so quick bringing out food even though at times its incredibly busy. Cant go wrong with a #17 on a cold day.

My daughter wanted to go here. It was a good experience. Service and food were good. Atmosphere was not really my cup of tea.

Best Vietnamese we have tried so far in Cali! We came from IL and this place tastes like the same style cooking we loved back home. Now that Santa Clarita is our new home, we look forward to dining here more often! The Shaken Beef dish, Pho, and Pork Bahn Mi were amazing! Loved their hot tea as well. Food was hot and fresh. Can’t wait to come back again.

The food here was just OK. The service was quite slow and the food also came out a bit later than generally expected at Vietnamese pho restaurants.

TASTE OF VIETNAM!
Vietnamese food is not only food, but it is also Vietnamese culture. Excite your senses with sweet, salty, bitter, sour and spicy in Pho Viet 1.
Their dishes comprise two things: delicious and healthy.

We came in with 2 boys. While eating, they’re trying to reach the water cups for drinking. Right at that moment, the old lady, one of the family owner I believe approached and reminded us to stop them before they’d make mess all over the table. I was a bit surprised but ok “will do”. Then I was having some last pieces of food in my plate, she suddenly came by again and tried to clean up the table, took away my dish. It’s not closing time yet. I’m really uncomfortable with that manners. We left and no plan to come back. I hope they’re gonna improve or else they’ll lose more customers.

Doesn’t matter what we order, everything taste delicious. We definitely go for the pho and Thia Tea. The Vietnamese coffee is a must but be sure to add a little more water because it is very strong in flavor and caffeine. The staff is always pleasant, fast and does a good job making sure we have what we need. The Pho is authentic with all the traditional sauces and sides. A great place to go especially because most authentic restaurants are so far away in LA. Located in Santa Clarita the 30 min drive beat over an hr for delicious, and authentic Vietnamese food.
