[ ] Donut holes- glazed and cinnamon – solid, standard donut holes. Not my favorite but still very very good.
[ ] Old fashioned – crisp exterior and super light interior. Not the moist, dense experience I’m used to with these. I prefer the dense and moist version more but this was a really good version of an old fashioned.
[ ] Chocolate glazed donut- one of the best chocolate glazed donuts I can remember. Top 3. Super soft donut with one of our favorite chocolate glazes.
[ ] Glazed twist- good, solid donut. Not quite perfect texture but really close. Soft with a good glaze. I’d get again.
[ ] Cream cheese cinnamon roll – mostly cream cheese flavor. Good texture on the cinnamon roll but not a ton of flavor. I’d get again just because of my frosting obsession.
[ ] Blueberry fritter- not a great texture for me. Crisp and slightly dry in places. weird chemical flavor for me that lingers. Whitney liked.
[ ] Apple fritter- great texture and flavor when you get apple pieces. I would get again.
[ ] Caramel bar- more chocolate flavor than caramel but good caramel texture. Quite tasty. Don’t have to have again but I’d definitely eat it again.

This was our first time to the Wallowas and Joseph. We planned a couple of gravel bike rides in the area and when I saw there was a little donut shop right in town, I knew it had to be our first stop. We were greeted with rows of the freshest donuts and a cheery smile from the owner. I am a fritter fanatic and saw a flavor I’d never seen before, blueberry. Hands down, without peer, the best fritter I’ve ever had. I bought a few donut holes and my partner got her glazed and we gently placed them in our bike bags for later. Went back the next day for more and saw another fritter I’ve never seen before, cherry. And they had chocolate cake donuts which they didn’t have the day before. Another star for sheer variety and keeping it interesting day to day. I assure you Blue Mountain Donuts has a deep understanding of the process and craft of making incredible donuts. I appreciate what you’ve brought to this little town. Honestly, worth the trip to Joseph. If there was ever a destination donut shop, this is it.

Incredible selection of all the basic donuts, lots of specialty ones too and huge yummy fritters. They also do fresh made take n bake pizzas. Had coffee one of the times we went and it was very good. Prices typical for a nicer donut shop – these are not your average grocery store donuts. Place is nice and clean with some outside seating. Folks who run the joint are friendly.

This little place is awesome, nothing like small town customer service and a warm feeling atmosphere with delicious food! This is our second time to this area and I’m glad we found this donut shop the second time around. Make sure if your visiting you stop here for a bit. I promise you won’t regret it 🙂

My husband spotted the “must have” donut shop. Bought enough for the weekend and a big box for home. We live 2 hrs away. If my husband runs out for donuts for 4 hrs I’ll definitely know where he’s been and know it will have been worth the trip .

This was genuinely one of the best fritters I have ever had. The filling to dough ratio was perfect. It was rich without being greasy or too sweet. Super cute shop and sweet owners. 10/10! Highly recommend.

I’d say I’m very hard to impress when it comes to donuts and this place is amazing!!! Beautiful and creative selection, everything had great flavor. Even their donut holes are like the best donut holes I’ve had! You can also catch me ordering their take and bake pizza. I can also tell the owner puts a lot of heart into this business – all the staff has been very welcoming and professional. 10/10 recommend!!!
