For our meals, we ordered a chili cheese hot dog, caesar salad, buffalo chicken pizza, a burger, and wings. The wings, burger, and hot dog were all good — nothing amazing, but solid and cooked well. The Caesar salad, on the other hand, was drenched in dressing. The flavor was overpowering and it honestly looked like there was more dressing than lettuce.
We also asked for a side of ranch for our fries, but they brought out blue cheese instead. Then our buffalo chicken pizza initially came out as a plain cheese pizza. Our waiter said he “just heard medium pizza and assumed cheese,” which was a bit unsettling. Thankfully, he fixed the order quickly, and I’m so glad he did because the buffalo chicken pizza ended up being phenomenal. The dough was light and fluffy, the chicken was grilled (not fried, which I appreciated), and it had great flavor. I personally would’ve liked a bit more buffalo sauce, but that’s just my preference. The homemade ranch paired perfectly with it, too.
Overall, there were some hiccups with service and a few misses with the food, but that buffalo chicken pizza alone almost redeemed the visit.
After waiting, my client went inside to ask for service and was met with yelling from a staff member. Despite this, they handed over their card as requested and were eventually brought a beer—but no one returned to check on them afterward.
Later, my client went back inside to ask again, and the same staff member was rude once more. I then stepped in to advocate for my client and asked why they weren’t being served. The staff member yelled at me too.
I called to file a complaint, and the manager refused to let me speak with the owner. They dismissed the issue and showed no concern for the fact that my client has a disability. We were told not to come back and to find a new place.
Neither my client nor I were disrespectful at any point. We followed proper steps to raise our concerns, but instead of receiving an apology or understanding, we were met with hostility and exclusion.
