Sophie’s is a must try! From the moment we stepped inside, our expectations had gone up a few notches. Our appetizer was the ‘Burrata with Pesto’. Very enjoyable! My wife had the ‘Meatballs & Spaghetti’, and she loved it. I had a taste and I see why! I loved that sauce. I tried the ‘Softshell Crab Sophie’, which was very delicious. We decided to get their chocolate cake and a side of spumoni. Our server ‘warned’ us the cake was big. He lied…it was colossal! We ate what we could and hauled the rest home. With a nice atmosphere, excellent service, and great food, I can see us coming back.
Update: Still as excellent as ever. Grilled Redfish, Chicken Parmigiana, Grilled Salmon were all a home run!

I got the chicken parm, and the menu said it had mozzarella cheese and red gravy. I don’t think there was any gravy on mine and didn’t like that they automatically added the parmesian cheese on top of my spaghetti. In the end, it didn’t matter because I found the spaghetti sauce to be way too sweet for my taste and didn’t eat it. The portion size of the chicken was big. I wish it was fried a little softer instead of a crunchy batter. I ordered a side salad, and it was delicious with spring mix and chopped eggs, altho small for $6. Ice tea was $4. I will say the service was excellent! Great communication, timing, and delivery of food were very appreciated. Food 3.0 out of 5, Service 5 out of 5. Parking is scarce. We went early at 5:30 and got the last spot. We were confused when we walked in because there were only 2 tables with people.

I ha chicken parm to go. The chicken was grossly over cooked & dry. Th red gravy on the spaghetti did not taste good. A few weeks prior I had the filet: it did not taste good . Have had other item and they too were average at best.

We were excited to try this place when we saw it building so close to our home. We saved it for our first date night after having our son and my parents babysat. When getting there we were seated immediately without a reservation on a Saturday evening. Staff was friendly and efficient. We had the soup of the day ( some sort of crab bisque) it was amazing. My husband got the veal parm and I had the eggplant Sophie. Both were good and large portions so we left with boxes. We were not rushed at all but was hoping for a little more of a leisurely time. Although the food was VERY good it came to the table incredibly fast. My parents were shocked at how fast we returned home. I think even McDonald’s would not be as fast. The only real complaint I have was the volume. The loud music and people produced a lot of noise. I’m soft spoken anyways so we didn’t talk too much over dinner because we could barely hear one another.

O.M.G. This place is the best. Everything we ordered was delicious. I don’t think I can eat seafood anywhere else. The stuffed artichoke soup is wonderful. This was a spiritual experience for food.

I know it’s new so I’ll give it another shot in the future but I’d definitely wait to try this place.
Everything is missing basic seasoning. Had to add salt and pepper to even the onion rings that claim to have salt and pepper were lacking. Crispy otherwise though.
Eggplant sophie:
First of all, raw tomatoes are not a garnish. I repeat raw tomato is not a garnish. Get rid of that.
