Start with a cocktail — they’re crisp, creative, and perfectly tuned to that “it’s Friday, I deserve this” mood – even on a Tuesday.
The spicy arrabbiata pasta is a standout: rich, fiery, and unapologetically bold. It hits that sweet spot between comfort food and chef’s finesse — the kind of dish that makes conversation pause mid-sentence. My friends had the ribeye and they ate still digesting it as it was a huge
Fia’s vegetarian options aren’t an afterthought — they’re headliners. From roasted cauliflower that actually has personality to their seasonal salads bursting with herbs and citrus, it’s proof you don’t need meat to have a good time here.
There’s valet if you’re feeling fancy (and honestly, it’s worth it on weekends), or decent street parking if you’re patient and circle twice. Either way, once you step through the gate, you’ll forget you’re in Santa Monica traffic territory.
Pro tip: go early, linger long, and pretend you’re writing your next novel or closing a movie deal. Everyone else here probably is.
The food is fantastic- it never fails to- beware not the biggest portions but the quality is bar none. Highly recommend the salmon cone apps, any pasta on the menu. Service is good but you might have to flag down your serve lr on very busy nights. A must see in Santa Monica at least once.
It has a small alleyway type entrance out front, but once going through…you emerge into a GORGEOUS courtyard space where most of the seating is located.
It was such a relaxing and tranquil vibe for a lovely Saturday brunch!!
Another thing about these brunch spots that offer the bottomless drinks – food can often be a hit or miss.
Well, I can assure you that it definitely hits at Fia!!
Both of the food options we selected off of the entree options for the bottomless brunch were so delicious and beautifully presented!
The Shrimp & Grits plate was very generously portioned, had incredible flavor, and a really good heat that wasn’t overpowering to the rest of it.
The Breakfast Burger with a Wagyu beef patty was also high quality and a great size!
We both were left stuffed and very pleased!!
I also appreciated the friendly and attentive here – the waiter never kept us waiting for any bottomless drinks or water refills!!
He was always coming by to top us off and asking if we wanted any other drinks like margaritas for the bottomless!
This is much appreciated when often places seem to make it very hard to get refills for these sorts of brunches!
Thank you for the lovely brunch, Fia!
We’ll certainly return in the future, and I recommend you go at some point as well!
Edit: Went again here for valentines, server was Jacqueline. Amazing service as usual and food was just as delicious. Main take away was the off menu item, tomahawk steak. The steak was delicious even without the sauce.
We were looking for a place to eat and did some digging on the internet to find Fia. It was a bit chilly that night so they did offer us a blanket which was incredibly nice. The cob salad was amazing, now we asked for it without the salami but they forgot to take it out and we realized it when it was a little too late hence the lower service rating, but they took it off the bill as an apology which did help the case but it still left a bad taste with my partner as someone who doesn’t eat pork.
The swordfish and truffle pasta were phenomenal and everything else was perfect. Definitely recommend for a date night or a night out with friends.
