The food was tasty and there was a large selection. Some of the items where lukewarm, so always try to get food at the bottom of the tray to get hot food. The egg drop soup was one of the best that I have tasted and I loved the honey chicken. They also have a nice salad bar selection and desserts.

Sushi good ratio of rice, and lots of variety. Hibachi good for customization. Enjoyed the roast chicken, chicken skewers, beef dishes (Mongolian & broccoli beef) nice, flavorful and tender.
Mid tier is the rice noodles Mei fun, my favorite Chinese buffet item, but here a little bland.
Most concerning, the peppered crab was flash fried and upon opening up the legs discovered it was very raw inside.
Weakest point of buffet was the desserts. Only good sweets were Chinese donuts, apple pie, ice cream and expresso sheet cake. Apple pie a bit undercooked on bottom (still raw dough), but good texture/flavor on apple filling. Do not try the unknown powered chocolate chip puff pastry above the candy peanuts. So stale I couldn’t bite through it.
Overall strong buffet on the savory front, and would recommend a little more love to dessert section. Will return for sushi, chicken and beef dishes.
Service was very attentive and kept our table clean.

The food is fairly standard for an Asian buffet. The breaded shrimp is incredible, and they feature several American dishes if you want more than just Asian food. Some of the food was a bit bland, but overall an OK experience.

Finally reviewing after our 3rd or 4th visit. This has become our favorite place to eat after visiting my in-laws in Ardmore. The staff are very friendly and attentive. Plates will disappear as soon as your food has cleared them.

Get yourself the apple pie from the hot area. It’s not in the dessert area, which is kind of weird. Get a bowl from the hibachi station, put a piece of apple pie in it and head over to the self serve soft serve ice cream machine and top it with vanilla ice cream. Hibachi is cooked fresh and you can stand and watch if you want.

I love the food it is always good. The only thing that did bother me was the last time I went with my cousins. We paid separately 4 ways. My cousins leaft tip with their cards. I paid with card and wanted to tip with cash. I gave the waitress my receipt and she gave it back to me and said No tip? I told her I was tipping with cash and she did not leave my side and waited until I gave her the cash.

First time visit for 2 Chinese food enthusiasts. Any other Chinese restaurant we’ve been to in a 100 mile of home (Ada) has been mediocre to I’m not ever going back. Walked in to King Buffet and was immediately struck by the cleanliness and organization of the place. Then I saw the huge amount of food on the many islands. I turned to my mom and said, “I’m gonna make myself sick here!” everything looked so fresh and smelled so good. They have a large variety of American food that’s not your typical dry pizza and cold French fries.
But the Chinese food? It was absolutely outstanding! Fresh, hot & so tasty!
The staff was so nice.
If you’re near Ardmore, OK, you like Chinese food, and you’re tired of mediocre, you definitely need to try King Buffet! 5 Stars!

The people around us were very obnoxious, but that doesn’t have anything to do with the restaurant.

This was my third visit. The staff is always super sweet and friendly. The food is always fresh, and the varieties are plenty. Even though it was only our third time that did not stop them from making us feel like we were at home. The atmosphere is excellent!
