We discovered Our Nest just two minutes from our home and were blown away. We had an amazing breakfast — everything was fresh, thoughtfully prepared, and the atmosphere felt incredibly cozy and welcoming.

The place is run by a lovely couple, and we had the chance to meet one of them, Sam, who was incredibly warm and genuine. You can really feel the care and heart behind this place.

They also serve dinner and have a full bar, so we’ll definitely be coming back for dinner soon. Such a charming spot with great food, great service, and a wonderful vibe. Highly recommend!

This restaurant is an absolute gem for early breakfast in Brea. They open early at 8am and it’s absolutely beautiful inside. Beef from Snake River Farms is served along with eggs from pasture raised chickens. There’s options from wagyu patties to duroc pork.

It’s truly an elevated breakfast experience with their attentive service. There was a lovely busboy who made sure we had waters and kept our coffees full and promptly cleared our plates when we finished.

We had a party of four at 8:30am so we did not make reservations but there were already 5-6 parties seated inside already. I’d highly recommend making reservations if you’re going after 9:30, especially if you have a party of 6 or more.

There’s a variety of options on their menu without it feeling overwhelming. The offerings me want to come back with excitement to try more items on their menu. They have the nice option of having a full bar available and even offer a morning cocktail menu. Also two big screen TVs tastefully placed so you can watch Sunday football.

After dining at Our Nest, other breakfast restaurants just seem plain and makes me wish I was eating at Our Nest.

We had an incredible experience dining at Our Nest in Brea! From the moment we arrived, the ambiance was beautiful—airy, moody, and inviting. The service was excellent, and the food exceeded every expectation.

We started with the Parmesan tallow fries, which had the perfect crunch, and the Berry Burrata paired with prosciutto and berry spread—absolutely delicious. For our entrée, we shared the 16oz dry aged New York steak with Yukon gold potatoes and veggies. The flavors were outstanding, especially with the chimichurri. Our kids enjoyed the Italian Stallion sandwich with Parmesan focaccia and homemade cheese sauce was excellent for dipping fries in! , they also devoured the creamy bacon mac & cheese.

Dessert was mind blowing: the bread pudding tasted like the center of a cinnamon roll, served warm with Rich Farms vanilla ice cream and dulce de leche caramel sauce…. no words. Every bite of our meal was outstanding—we didn’t leave a single crumb! One of the owners JonPaul went up to every table, greeted everyone and shared recommendations, details on preparation of dishes and made sure everyone was happy with their meals a true class act and master at culinary craft!

This will definitely be our new date night spot. Highly recommend for any occasion!

New go-to breakfast spot in Brea! Amazing chilaquiles burrito and French toast but the star is the Spicy Steak & Eggs. Never been a big steak person but the filet is to die for! Hard to find a spot with good breakfast cocktails and none of The Nests disappoint! New favorite is Rosé Bubbly with orange juice ice cubes, can’t knock it til you try it. Sarah is amazing and always makes sure to deliver the best service and cocktails! <3

As always, the food was excellent! We have been having brunch at Our Nest for years. It is absolutely amazing. Staff and owners are very attentive. My new favorite is the Portabello Benedict! You know it’s fresh when the yoke is orange.

*Ridiculously* overpriced. Ordered a Vanilla latte and it didn’t taste like they had put any flavoring in it. I asked if I could have vanilla for it. They charged me extra for a little tin of the vanilla coffee syrup. Ordered a matcha to go and they didn’t have any lids for the iced cups so they asked if a hot cup was fine. I wasn’t going very far so I said yes— didn’t realize until afterwards that they charge an extra “to-go” fee on top of everything. Ended up paying about $10 for a plain bland matcha that wasn’t even in the right cup. To add eggs onto toast, there was an extra $6 charge.
All in all, pretty expensive and they didn’t tell me about any of the extra charges. The food was mid and the drinks were so incredibly plain. With the pricing, I definitely wouldn’t go back. I can make better food and coffee at home that doesn’t cost me an arm and a leg.

If the food/drink was better, I’d say the price was worth it, but it was incredibly average/bland.

This is our new go-to spot for lunch in Brea! Inventive menu, everything is so fresh, and cohesive. Tried the Berry Burrata Sandwich. An absolute winner. And while my husband joked about having to take home half of his burrito due to its size, there was nothing left on his plate to take home. Now, the only thing we need to do next is try their breakfast. Cannot wait! And while the focus of this review has been the food, it is all made better by the attentive and efficient staff. Great job. We will return.

This morning my son requested Our Nest in Placentia, and we were devastated to see that it had closed. Luckily, we read the sign explaining they had moved to Brea. We already loved the breakfast burritos, Popo Toast, Loco Moco, etc., and now they have a full bar, which is an added bonus. At my request, they even made me a Bloody Maria instead of a Bloody Mary. The side green salsa is to die for.
The family RUNS this restaurant. They genuinely love their customers. The new space is beautiful and much larger, easily accommodating their obvious following.
I’ve seen some negative reviews about cost—let me tell you, the ingredients are higher quality, the presentation is exquisite, and the service is amazing. If you can’t see that, then go to Denny’s.
They put love into their food, passed down from previous generations. As for the “no accommodations” comments—sorry, but you are wrong. When my husband ordered the Loco Moco months ago, the owner personally walked out and asked if he could add something to make it even better. And it was!
Love this restaurant and the family who owns it. Keep up the great work. If I could make just one request, it would be to bring back the frozen lemonade for my son.

I had the avocado toast with poached egg, and it was beautifully presented! You could also tell and taste that the eggs were organic and fresh.

Our family had eaten breakfast here numerous times, so my wife and I decided to celebrate or 26 wedding anniversary and try the dinner menue. It was more than just a dinner, it was a true dinnig experience. J.P’s creativity and food pairings are amazing. From the quality of the ingredients to the preparation to the presentation it is top notch.Talking about creativity, Becca’s bartending skills are something like you’ve never seen give her a hint of what you want and she will surpass yor expectations. The whole staff is attentive and on top of their game. We can not wait to share the Our Nest experience with or friends and family.
