The place is run by a lovely couple, and we had the chance to meet one of them, Sam, who was incredibly warm and genuine. You can really feel the care and heart behind this place.
They also serve dinner and have a full bar, so we’ll definitely be coming back for dinner soon. Such a charming spot with great food, great service, and a wonderful vibe. Highly recommend!
It’s truly an elevated breakfast experience with their attentive service. There was a lovely busboy who made sure we had waters and kept our coffees full and promptly cleared our plates when we finished.
We had a party of four at 8:30am so we did not make reservations but there were already 5-6 parties seated inside already. I’d highly recommend making reservations if you’re going after 9:30, especially if you have a party of 6 or more.
There’s a variety of options on their menu without it feeling overwhelming. The offerings me want to come back with excitement to try more items on their menu. They have the nice option of having a full bar available and even offer a morning cocktail menu. Also two big screen TVs tastefully placed so you can watch Sunday football.
After dining at Our Nest, other breakfast restaurants just seem plain and makes me wish I was eating at Our Nest.
We started with the Parmesan tallow fries, which had the perfect crunch, and the Berry Burrata paired with prosciutto and berry spread—absolutely delicious. For our entrée, we shared the 16oz dry aged New York steak with Yukon gold potatoes and veggies. The flavors were outstanding, especially with the chimichurri. Our kids enjoyed the Italian Stallion sandwich with Parmesan focaccia and homemade cheese sauce was excellent for dipping fries in! , they also devoured the creamy bacon mac & cheese.
Dessert was mind blowing: the bread pudding tasted like the center of a cinnamon roll, served warm with Rich Farms vanilla ice cream and dulce de leche caramel sauce…. no words. Every bite of our meal was outstanding—we didn’t leave a single crumb! One of the owners JonPaul went up to every table, greeted everyone and shared recommendations, details on preparation of dishes and made sure everyone was happy with their meals a true class act and master at culinary craft!
This will definitely be our new date night spot. Highly recommend for any occasion!
All in all, pretty expensive and they didn’t tell me about any of the extra charges. The food was mid and the drinks were so incredibly plain. With the pricing, I definitely wouldn’t go back. I can make better food and coffee at home that doesn’t cost me an arm and a leg.
If the food/drink was better, I’d say the price was worth it, but it was incredibly average/bland.
The family RUNS this restaurant. They genuinely love their customers. The new space is beautiful and much larger, easily accommodating their obvious following.
I’ve seen some negative reviews about cost—let me tell you, the ingredients are higher quality, the presentation is exquisite, and the service is amazing. If you can’t see that, then go to Denny’s.
They put love into their food, passed down from previous generations. As for the “no accommodations” comments—sorry, but you are wrong. When my husband ordered the Loco Moco months ago, the owner personally walked out and asked if he could add something to make it even better. And it was!
Love this restaurant and the family who owns it. Keep up the great work. If I could make just one request, it would be to bring back the frozen lemonade for my son.
