Sweety’s café & tea room is located in historic downtown Canton at The Mill on Etowah. We serve fresh made chicken salad, scoop salads, handcrafted sandwiches house made soups and delicious fresh baked desserts. We also offer Traditional Tea service and cafe lunch in the Tea Room. We are proud to serve Tea Leaves & Thyme Tea blends. Reservations are required for the Tea Room and can be made by visiting our website. We hosted my daughter’s baby shower here with afternoon tea and it was an absolutely beautiful time! It was so nice to walk in and have everything already perfectly decorated and food taken care of. We didn’t have to do a thing! Everyone had a great time and the food and tea were amazing! We will always remember the sweet time we had here for our special occasion. 5 stars all the way!

We had a baby shower for our son and daughter in-law and they did such a wonderful job. It was a warming feeling when I turned the corner and the room was beautiful where we had it. Being from out of town and planing something sight unseen sometimes can be scary but Cheryl and her team did such a wonderful time. Lynn was our hostess and she did such a wonderful job. If you need a place to plan a party or shower definitely use Sweety’s.
You will not be disappointed I promise you that!!

Sweety’s is a local gem! We have enjoyed two wonderful events here now, (Tea with Elsa and my daughter’s 6th birthday.) Cheryl is easy to work with and so very sweet. The space and atmosphere itself is lovely, and the food and service is impeccable. She knocked it out of the park with my daughter’s birthday, taking care of every detail, and our guests were raving about the experience she created for us!

My mom, daughter and I went for tea over the Christmas season. Cheryl (owner) was attentive and kind. The presentation of the was cute but the best part was the food. EVERYTHING was so delicious! We ordered 2 boxes which was the perfect amount for us and we ate everything single thing. This will definitely be a seasonal treat for us & I can’t wait to do it with other friends.

My girlfriend and I enjoyed an afternoon out with High Tea at Sweety’s a couple of days ago and it was simply scrumptious! Cheryl was a wonderful hostess and we loved the mix and match effect of both our table and the room itself. High tea included cucumber sandwiches and the most delicious pimento spread I have ever had…served on raisin bread, the sweet and salty was just the right combination…I even took a scoop of the pimento spread home to enjoy later.
The lemon scones and cream to top them with was delicious and had just a hint of sweetness. To accompany our tea, we enjoyed a pot of both Crème Brulee and Christmas Tea. To finish off the high tea, we had some rum muffins and cheesecake bites. It was plenty of food for the two of us and we enjoyed it immensely.
We will definitely be back to enjoy High Tea with Cheryl at Sweety’s again soon!

This place is such a gem and exactly what I wanted for my mom’s surprise birthday celebration with friends and family. Some of them drove more than an hour to join us. Absolute pity that the owner is so rude and inflexible. This type of service will certainly damage her business and reputation. I’ve agreed with Cheryl to prepare high tea for 16 guests, with the possibility of a few additional unconfirmed guests, which can sit at a separate table and can order from the lunch menu. I thought we had an agreeable compromise, but alas. Some guests arrive before me, and Cheryl insisted to know from them how many guests we will be, because it is an inconvenience for the kitchen. It is one thing to discuss the logistics with me, but to have a go at my guests, who was unaware of my arrangements, is unacceptable. This left a bad taste before the event even started. None of us will ever be returning, simply because of this interaction. In my reservation, I stated the special event, but I think it is a moot point, because hostile interactions had very little consideration for the special event we were celebrating. Upon my arrival, my guests informed me of this and I’ve introduced myself to Cheryl and she didn’t even mention any of this to me. We are such an easy going group of friends, who just wanted a pleasant gathering. Clearly Cheryl and Sweety’s aren’t easy going. I really want to conclude this review with some heartfelt advice: put your customers first and be accommodating. People go to Sweety’s for something different/special, give it to them and your business will thrive!

Had a six person birthday party here on a Saturday. We did the lunch menu, not high tea. The tea was brewed just right. The food was outstanding. I felt that it was worth the one hour drive from Atlanta.
The service was incredibly polite and pleasant. We were served water right away. The tea took about 15 minutes to prepare.
The atmosphere is nice with their decor. They definitely are on theme and it makes for a special occasion. What took away from the atmosphere is that you can see into the shopping mall with people, kids, and dogs walking by. It would be better if it was more enclosed and a little more decor for the theme.

My daughter took me and my granddaughter for a Sunday afternoon tea. Upon arrival to the tea room it was absolutely lovely to see such simple and beautiful decor. Lynn greeted us and we were delighted to meet her. She was a wonderful hostess. Attentive, friendly and professional. We had the Cheeky Peach tea and the three tier tray of assorted treats. Everything was delicious. My granddaughter thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I encourage you to visit and have a wonderful tea time experience.
