I leave a lot of reviews, and I honestly can’t remember the last time I gave a full five stars. This place deserves it. It’s a simple, no-frills BBQ joint—but the food is unreal. I’ve had food from their competitors, and this place absolutely blows the competition out of the water. My wife and I both ordered the Outlaw, and the brisket and bacon were excellent. The crunchy onion ring on the sandwich absolutely made it. Great prices, great food, and the kind of spot I wish every town in America had.

The brisket was incredible. The staff are very friendly. Even sampling some of the ribs and pork from the other members of my group it all tasted extremely good. Definitely coming back

Nice and clean and airy. Not cramped in this bbq restaurant.
Not super busy at 12:30 in the afternoon. Surprised, but I think it was because of the sign in the door saying “No students allowed during lunch”.
Ordered the “Lone Ranger” which was a hot link with pulled pork, onions, American cheese on a hoagie.
Also ordered the brisket sandwich. The meat was sliced thin and had a great smoke ring. There was not a rub on this meat. At least not one you could taste. The bun was lacking. This sandwich was brisket and bun only. IT would be greatly improved being buttered and grilled. That buttery crispness would really enhance the flavor of the meat.
We both ordered onion rings, which were frozen and like the kind you get from the bulk food store.
With some changes this place could bang out some yummy quick food for the high schoolers, they really are missing out on that.

My husband and I were happy we decided to stop in to this restaurant! We just moved from St. Louis, and have visited other well-known BBQ cities in the Midwest. We are very pleased to announce Smokin’ Gun BBQ is able to hold its own in the barbecue world! We were very satisfied with our meal, and highly recommend the smoked turkey as well as the ribs. The overall atmosphere is great, and the service was superb. it’s hard to find good customer service sometimes, but these guys know what it is. We will definitely be back, and will bring our friends and family.

Traveling through for work and randomly came across this place. Spacious room and nice service.
I got the Double Barrel sandwich and it was delicious and reasonably priced for the amount of food I received. Definitely recommend this place.
