First time visit. We were traveling and decided to stop at Bob Evans specifically for the breakfast sausage. Our first impression was that the sausage was not like the links that we get at the supermarket. The table we were sat at initially had not been cleaned and the host even noticed because she wiped her hand across it to check. We ended up moving ourselves to another table. Window sills looked dirty and floor had not been vacuumed. Hands were greasy after eating the toast. Definitely not a pleasant experience and has likely removed Bob Evans restaurants from our list of travel stops.

Raw doughy pancake and bland caramel apple French toast. We paid almost 50 dollars for this. I guess we’ll avoid the entire restaurant instead of only evening shift. This isn’t the first issue I’ve had with Bob Evans. Edit: I’ve already contacted you guys and haven’t received a response.

This location was the worst Bob Evans we’ve been to. After seeing the conditions of this place, I’m surprised corporate hasn’t shut this down. The building itself is dirty and not appealing to eat in and the food was even worse. I can’t believe they even allowed my children’s meals to be served. Attaching pictures to show the rotten fruit my kids were both given in their kids meals. The chicken tenders were disgusting as well and my child took one bite and spit it out. This may have been the first place my kids didn’t even eat their meals. When I showed the cashier a picture of the fruit and asked for a discount she acted like it’s no big deal and said there was nothing she could do. Eventually she gave a whopping $4 off. We paid over $50 for 3 of us to not even eat our meals.

How in the world is this place still in business?

Service was great. The chicken/noodles was excellent. The BBQ chicken salad was ok.

This was my first time ever eating at a Bob Evans, and honestly, I’m not sure what I expected—but whatever it was, this wasn’t it. The best way to describe it would be a Denny’s knockoff, though I’d much rather go to Denny’s than ever come back here.

I ordered something called “The Whole Hog”, and the server had me read off each item it came with so she could write it down—then mentioned she was new. Fair enough, but things went downhill from there. The food was just meh. The biscuits were so hard I thought I might break a tooth, the hashbrowns were soggy and swimming in grease, and the bacon tasted like it had been cooked, then recooked… several times.

Overall, very disappointing experience. I definitely do not recommend this place.

Hash browns had an “old oil” taste, the omelette was extremely thin and not filled. Coffee was like warm. Overpriced for what you get.

Ordered dinner. Got home and checked my bag. They forgot my cheesecake. Which I paid an upcharge for. Obviously I wasn’t going to drive 20 minutes to get it. So, no desert for me.

The menu was limited to four options for breakfast today. All options had eggs. I am allergic to eggs and asked if I could get a substitute for the eggs. Manager refused. I asked if they would take the eggs off of the bill. Manager refused. So I said to the Manager, “In other words I will be paying full price for less food.” She said, “Yes, you will.” She then walked off. The poor waitress was so embarrassed and apologetic. That is bad policy. I will not be back.

Our server was new to the job.
You wouldn’t know it because this guy was on top of everything!
Michael, YOU made my experience a good one, thank you.
We relayed our appreciation to the manger, her response “yeah he is good. I hope I can keep him”.
