This will officially be my 2nd visit here and for good reason!
No wait to be seated, food came out fresh and prompt. I was even asked if we were celebrating anything special and when I told them it was our anniversary they very kindly gave us a free dessert.
The food itself is flavorful without being salty, I really have no complaints. Their combos are quite a good value for the amount of food you get

I am a routine customer of many years, and I used to absolutely love this place; however, they left the head on my shrimp when I order no head. The shrimp were not deveined. Also, their sauce is watery and runny. They used to have the best sauce because it was thick like a roux. I also didn’t receive the extra sauce I paid for. I really hope they turn things around. I would hate to take my business elsewhere.

Immediate greeting upon entry. Very alert and attentive staff.
Menu is clear and easy to follow. Options from ala carte to curated meals. The appetizers are delicious and came out quick. Entrees came out equally as fast. All the food is priced right.
Flavor is off the charts. We did the garlic butter and had a side of Cajun and both were delicious and paired perfectly together!
We will absolutely be returning!

I have gone Red Crab Boil numerous times now and I’ve mainly had take out. Almost every single time, the seafood boil is cooked to perfection and good quality. The food is warm when I pick it up. The crab legs just slide right out of the shell. When I lived in Lee’s Summit I used to get seafood boil every month. It never disappointed me. Ever since moving, I drive 30 minutes every now and then to get my seafood boil fix because other restaurants seasonings don’t compare. I would highly recommend Red Crab Boil.

Much smaller place than I anticipated and a couple large parties took up a lot of the tables. I don’t eat seafood and they don’t have hardly anything I could eat so I tried the Alfredo pasta – I’ll go with chicken tenders next time. It came out 10 minutes before everyone else’s food and wasn’t good at all. However – It’s a seafood place so that’s why you are reading this review. The 3 people I was with all got different combos and it was SO MUCH FOOD! Based on the words: oh my gosh this is so good, holy cow this is delicious and I can’t stop eating…. I’d say they loved it! They didn’t have a single complaint and can’t wait to go back for more! They gave it a 10/10.

Interesting choices but didn’t meet expectations. The rest of the table got their food probably twenty plus minutes before we did. When we received the food it tasted like pure salt. My wife couldn’t eat hers and sent it back which is very unusual. Mine was very bad and I stirred it for about five minutes to mix up the seasoning when I discovered the pasta underneath had zero flavor. This made it clear that they had dumped the flavor pouch or whatever they use right on top and did zero prep work that didn’t involve dumping stuff on top of the pasta. Maybe they have a system like a chain with bagged ingredients which should make the results decent and repeatable but I got the opposite. When the waitress asked me about mine I described what I just wrote and she said it was supposed to be like that and the customer is supposed to mix it up. I have never been to a place that requires you to do the kitchens job. Low quality, extremely slow service and weird so I will definitely not go back.

Been going here for over a year and I have loved every time except my last 2 visits, The wait normally isn’t bad unless they forget your on the list after 2 mins. last monday we can in and got place on a wait list and told 15-20 mins and not even 2 mins later they seated 3 family’s that just walked in the door and after about 30mins i walked in and asked what was up and he’d forgotten and thought had called me.. all good, then i get my meal…. it was cold crab legs and more oil the actual crab meat… and shrimp that hadnt been deveined and to top it off they had received a mislabeled Keg that had “made it to the floor somehow”.. and served me the wrong beer 3 times… and then today… once again i got forgot about again by the same guy in the same damn week… and the food was okay but Needless to say I don’t think well be returning..

Don’t come here if you want a good meal. My father ordered a salmon pasta which was so salty it was in edible. The Manager told him ” well dont order that” completely inappropriate. Then the server brought over a neat pour of Makers, our table wasnt even drinking. What since did that make?!?!
We waited over an HOUR for chicken tenders.
The music playing (tate mccray sports car) not very family friendly.
Let’s not forget no napkins on the table, no drink refills. Completely ignored.

I ordered a 1/2lb crab legs, 1/2lb shrimp, and a 1/2lb sausage, with garlic butter at medium heat, and it was AWESOME!
A couple of critiques….the sausage just was there, it was boring, definitely store bought and just thrown in.
And you guys are ready for a bigger building!
It was full when I was there, at almost 8pm at night. And when it’s full, we have to sit close to the door that opens up to the 20⁰ cold.
But leftover shrimp and sausage, in spicy butter, with scrambled eggs, the next morning, was awesome too!
