Great little spot off the main highway. Fast service and the food was really good. The chicken sandwich was big, thick, and juicy. The red beans and rice really hit the spot too. My wife loved the shrimp tacos with yum yum sauce.

Super excited to find this place – we’ve been coming to OBX for years. They have GG options! (Easiest to view it by downloading the menu pdf from their website.) The GF fried chicken sandwich with GF bun is PHENOMENAL. My husband LOVED the Po’Boy. We are originally from Philly and having the cheesesteak on an Amoroso – chefs kiss! Only critique is the cheesesteak was a little bit on the salty side. The Fried chicken sandwich is massive so I cut it in half for my kids. They could barely finish just a half it’s so large. I loved the southwest salad and the dressing is delicious. We will definitely order from here again next summer!

South Beach absolutely blew me away! I came in on a whim and ended up having one of the best meals I’ve had in a while. The chicken sandwich was crispy, juicy, and full of flavor — easily top-tier. I also tried the shrimp tacos, and WOW — they were fresh, zesty, and perfectly balanced. Beyond the food, the staff was so friendly and welcoming, it made the whole experience feel like a treat. This place is definitely going into my regular rotation!

Always looking for new spots down OBX and this may be the best take out you can get.
They have a huge menu with a ton of different options. We tried the fried chicken sandwich, a couple of the bowls, and a cheesesteak. Everything was delicious and the portions were very generous for what you paid.
Will definitely be back to try more.

What can I say about South Beach, THANK YOU FOR COMING BACK! This place leaving for a while broke my families heart. This is probably one of our favorite places to eat. The food is amazing and flavorful. The burritos are jam packed full of ingredients. The French fries are hand cut and always amazing. The staff is very friendly and make to feel very welcoming. The delivery is on point too. Quick and fast. You can’t go wrong with this place.

Great cafe for yummy OBX eats. Owner is definitely a foodie soul! ♥ Creative homemade sauces paired with the fish tacos were delicious. Plus they have a doggie meal! Tried a new style of French fries, and they would definitely be in our order again. Must try place!

Stopped in on our way home to pick up dinner to go. The food was amazing and the employees were so friendly. We ordered the classic smash with fries and the yum yum burrito which came with chips and salsa. The portions were generous and again, the food was amazing! Will definitely be back!!

I loved the fish tacos at South Beach Grill. I wish they made their mac n cheese into a dip because it’s really good too.
Because they primarily do catering, they are fast. You’re welcome to sit inside or outside at their location, but it’s all self serve and delivered to you packaged up to-go (fine by us and a low key stop before going back to the beach). They have a fridge with sodas and beer for if you decide to eat there.

GLUTEN FREE bun option. Truly a take-out restaurant. It is located in a shopping center and there is limited seating inside and outside. The smash burgers were awesome and the fries were hot, fresh, and delicious. A tad expensive (two yum yum burgers and fries, one with a GF bun came to $42) but really good.
