Great food with friends!
Had a wonderful time at Tu Madre in Brentwood, staff was very friendly and knew the menu like the back of their hand. The service was fast and the ambiance was nice and relaxing. My favorite drink was their Sandia slushie and the KBBQ tacos!! The food tasted so good and fresh! Their street corn was another favorite of mine. All in all if you order anything off the menu you’re gonna have a good meal!

Fun, casual patio spot in Brentwood (note: outdoor seating only). The staff and manager were very welcoming, and most heaters were working, which made the evening comfortable.
The Chicken Al Pastor Street Taco was the highlight – packed with flavor and our favorite dish. The Vegan Fried Avocado Burrito was unique and delicious with great texture. Nachos were solid. The Cauliflower Rajas Bowl had good flavor but was slightly dry (extra salsa helped). The Fried Chicken Burrito was decent but had a mild fishy aftertaste, likely from shared fryer oil.
Drinks were light and fruity – the spicy margarita was the best one we tried.
Overall, a great neighborhood spot and we’d return, especially for the tacos.

Best Mexican food in Los Angeles! Super friendly staff, fast service, and an amazing location. Everything tastes fresh, bold, and insanely good. We have visited other locations before, and this new one delivers the same great vibe. Burritos and tacos were incredible, the bowl was great too. Prices are cheap for such quality!

The blossom queso quesadilla is a MUST — I never had anything like before and queso tacos are always a good idea. also the margarita flight is PERFECT for celebrations (or just because) with the sparkler! each margarita glass is garnished beautifully and compliments each flavor. definitely worth the money for the experience and youll have 4 drinks to enjoy. burritos are loaded, bowls, tacos and so many flavors from Mexican to kbbq to health conscious. staff is super nice and the whole place is a vibeee

Stopped by Tu Madre and had a great experience. The crispy fish burrito was a standout – perfectly crispy, flavorful, and filling without being too heavy. The crispy shrimp bowl was just as solid, with great texture and fresh ingredients throughout.
We also grabbed the chips & salsa, which were fresh, crunchy, and a perfect way to start the meal. And don’t sleep on the sangria which was super refreshing and paired really well with the food.
Overall, everything hit. If you’re in Brentwood and looking for a chill spot with consistently good food and drinks, this place is definitely worth checking out. I’ll for sure be back.

Tried Tu Madre and honestly — everything was perfect. We ordered two bowls, two burritos, and churros, and every single thing was so delicious. Super fresh ingredients, great flavors, and generous portions.
The burritos and bowls were packed, balanced, and tasted really homemade, and the churros were the perfect sweet ending — warm, crispy, and not too heavy.
On top of that, the staff was really nice and welcoming, which always makes the experience even better.
Definitely a spot I’d come back to and recommend if you’re craving good Mexican food ✨

The husband and I have now been to Tu Madre a few times and feel more than confident in that 5 star review. We’ve tried a variety of menu items at this point, meat and plant-based, and have never been disappointed. But even beyond that, the people who work there are welcoming, friendly, and were really helpful. This time, it was Allan who helped us navigate the menu and he didn’t steer us wrong! Will definitely be back and you should, too. Or come for the first time!

Are you kidding me. This is what I get for ordering on Uber Eats and doing their buy one get one free. The steak was nasty. I got all those little fat pieces that are hard to bite and make you not want to keep biting into the burrito. I am done. I even tried the second one to see how it was and same nasty meat. I am so disappointed. There goes my lunch. Never again will I give them a shot. I dislike chipotle but even they have a better carne asada.

Crispy shrimp tacos are excellent!! Ahi tuna was ok just needed ponzu or furikake seasoning. The shrimp burrito was good but I definitely like the tacos wayyyy more they should put the shrimp sauce from the tacos and put in the burrito! Will definitely be back, love that it comes with chips and salsa!
