Stopped from out of town today for an early lunch, so no wait time. The owner immediately had us seated and welcomed us and our server was right behind to take drink and appetizer orders. Good menu of mixed drinks, and various local beers on draft as well as large wine menu. We started with the pork belly and scallops appetizer (forgot picture) and was delicious, the scallops were grilled perfectly, and the pork belly tender with a crunchy outside. We got the burger special (double patty, mushroom gravy, fried onions, Swiss cheese, and pork belly) as well as the meatloaf sandwich which is not your traditional meatloaf, but was very tasty nonetheless with their special house sauce. We wished the creamed spinach was a little creamier, but had a great flavor. We finished with the hummingbird cake and were not disappointed. Our waiter was friendly and attentive, and the owner checked on us and other tables throughout our lunch. We could not have asked for better service or better food, and we will certainly be back the next time we are in town.

Happy Valentine’s Day and Anniversary dinner. We planned this date a little ahead of time. Made our reservations about a month ahead of time. The restaurant was fairly packed with a few tables open. I was disappointed that we were directed to a table at the back of the restaurant near the restroom and kitchen. Our waitress was fantastic and very knowledgeable. We received our cocktails with fresh rolls. We ordered the Filet and Ribeye with a side. The food was delicious and cooked perfectly.

I saw that the reviews were kind of mixed and was a little concerned. We love the Blue Rooster so we had high hopes for The Roost and let me tell you it did not disappoint. We started with the scallop and pork belly appetizer and it was so good! Also the spinach artichoke dip is amazing. Their wedge salad (I know pretty basic salad) was one of the best I have ever had. I would literally go back just for the appetizers and wedge salad. I got the ribeye with a twice baked potato and creamed spinach. Everything was amazing and I wish we not so full because the dessert menu looked fantastic. They definitely deserve a higher rating than some of the ones I saw here.

Came here for a treat – for my birthday dinner – and it was wonderful! The blue cheese olives in the dirty martini were so good – worth a mention . Crab cakes app was very good. Had the ribeye that was perfectly seasoned and cooked to med rare – with twice baked potato which was so creamy good. The small touches were noticed. Everyone was very kind and Lindsay, our server, was outstanding. Will come try for lunch soon!

Super impressed! Everything was very smooth for a grand opening. The host was kind and attentive and Norbert was ridiculously efficient even with an overflowing bar. The ambiance and lighting is gorgeous. I ordered a small house salad and side of mashed potatoes which were both very good. The later closing hours are refreshing compared to most restaurants in the area. Hoping for 2-3 more craft beer options (maybe a blonde or pale ale?) until the tap system is up and running. Will be back often!

Absolutely garbage! Food was disgusting I and my wife and father were very disappointed. Pretty place, the waitress was pretty, polite, and friendly, but the rest of the experience sucked. 70 bucks for 3 people and it wasn’t worth 25. I have eaten better food out of a dumpster before!

Food was good. Steak needs more flavor though, but was cooked well. Service was very friendly. Rolls were soft. Drinks were also good

We have dined at The Roost a few times. Service and food quality were excellent. I liked the craft cocktails, unique appetizers and the desserts. I am GF, so I appreciated how the server was helpful in consulting the chef to give me great options. My husband enjoyed a mouthwatering steak each visit but I had delicious salmon or chicken.

We had a wonderful lunch at The Roost! The chef came out and chatted with us for a while. He wanted to make sure we were enjoying our food and we were! A really unique menu. I had the chicken pot pie with a side of butternut squash and Brussels sprouts and finished with the Hummingbird cake. Every bite delectable!!

This was recommended due to it recently opening. We came here on Sunday afternoon of a holiday weekend and it was dead. The service was horrible, even though it was completely dead. The food was mediocre and I wouldn’t recommend it. The food came out partially cold and the chicken was tough.
