The dishes and drinks are on the pricier side, my Thai ice tea was $6 and the glass was just regular size. We shared the Laos style papaya salad and the Lhad Nha and both were delicious! Not sure how the rest of the dishes are but the Lhad Nha was big enough for two people so maybe that’s why prices are higher.

Takeout was amazing! My husband got the pad Thai and it was probably the best he’s ever had. The flavors were so clear and amplified. Tofu was good but did have an oily taste (I’m so picky with fried tofu!) But the noodles were absolutely incredible!

Thai food located in a Holiday Inn hotel. Pretty spacious restaurant, service is pretty fast and friendly as well. We sat by the window and the view was pretty good, overlooking the school of nursing for KU. Now the food. We ordered 2 dishes, pork belly from the specials and an eggplant with tofu. They are obviously cooked in a very similar way (as can be seen from the pictures) so they taste alike as well. Nice flavor from the basil and overall taste was ok. They were both very salty so need to drink a lot of water. The pork belly was cooked pretty well though, can’t really taste the fat that much which is good. The price for the 2 dishes are slightly on the high side but it’s ok. I think this restaurant will be a good choice for people who stay at the hotel or for people working / studying close by wanting to grab a quick bite to eat. Should you go out of your way to come here for Thai food? I wouldn’t recommend doing so.

Favorite Thai in KC! I have yet to try a dish I didn’t love! My new favorite is the Tomyum Noodle Soup, it was perfect when I was under the weather! Also, the mango sticky rice is such a delight.

Ordered the Tom Kha soup and fried tofu with this yummy peanut sauce. My hubby had the Mixed vegetables with chicken. He said the veggies were fresh and crunchy and tasty! Recommend!!

Best Thai in KC – Our family could not stop exclaiming at the incredible depth and freshness of flavor. Every dish was a revelation – you can really taste the care and authenticity. We’ve had great Thai in NYC and LA and this stands way up there. Even something as basic as Pad Thai had so much more dimension and texture – just so scrumptious.
The owners had the bad luck to open during COVID but they have their takeout game down and are hanging in there. I really hope they survive because they are easily one of the best restaurants in KC – not just among Thai but all restaurants. Seriously, it is that good. Give them a try. You’ll be glad you did!

One of the best Thai restaurants in town. You MUST try their Tiger Cry Beef and Mango Sticky Rice. It’s the best Tiger Cry Beef I’ve had so far and I tried almost every Thai restaurant in Kansas City. The meat is flavorful and cooked just right to tenderness. Pairing with their in-house dipping sauce, you won’t regret ordering it. The Mango Sticky Rice is not too sweet but still full of flavors. Mango is ripe and soft, and rice is seasoned with coconut milk before cooking. So you won’t need a lot of topping sauce and still taste the deliciousness. The only complaint I have is I wish the portion would be a little bit bigger, cause I can’t have enough of it. Definitely would come back again and try their other dishes.

Easily the best Thai food I’ve had in KC at this price point, plus I have to give them major props for opening up during a tough time for restaurants and absolutely nailing the carryout and delivery side of the biz. Everything I’ve ordered has always arrived hot, fresh, and in excellent condition, so you know they’ve got their system on point!

Really impressed with my lunch takeout today. I had the eggplant with pork and the eggplant was so good, it was easily the star of the dish. So tender, rich and almost meaty tasting! Ordering for pickup was very quick, was ready in less than 15 minutes. Will be back to try more!
