My wife and I went on a Thursday night for the first time. We were excited as a good Italian restaurant in the area isn’t really available, as we’d have to go downtown or Ann Arbor for one.
Pros: My wife liked the decor and the staff was attentive. The food was good. I had the linguine pecastore (pictured) and my wife had the chicken Parmesan. Both were very good.
Cons: price points were on par with downtown and a2. Paying for just ok bread is crazy, especially with the price points entrees are at. The wine pour was very stingy. The birthday light show is cool the first time seeing it but very laser tag esque. I feel there needs to be a wall to close off some of the noise as the open concept isn’t very romantic.

If you knew the old Dolce Vita (either the Riverview or Monroe locations), you know this restaurant… Chef Vince is back and better than ever!

We were really excited to try given I have fond memories of Dolce Vita. My boyfriend’s salmon was amazing but the potato’s with it were very bland. My pasta dish was good but the Alfredo could have been thicker. We also found it very odd that you have to pay for bread. Never been to a place that doesn’t bring you some with your meal. Lastly we hoped for a romantic evening for our anniversary but it was so loud we almost had to shout to hear each other across the table. Think Texas Roadhouse on a busy night loud. Our waitress was very sweet which helped the experience but when spending this kind of money on a night out just didn’t quite live up to the expectations unfortunately.

The food is amazing, you can tell the chef is authentic Italian! One of the best meals I’ve had in a very long time. The prices are reasonable for the quality. I ate at the bar and the bartender Natalie, was fabulous. The drinks were awesome and the service just as good. I’ll definitely be back!

This was the best meal we’ve had in I don’t even know how long , the bread fantastic , my husband said the sausage and peppers was phenomenal. We shared the risotto balls and YUM. I had the Chicken Alfredo and it was delicious. Everything we had was worth every penny . We’ll definitely be eating here again .

First time dining here since opening. We arrived about 5 minutes after 5 PM opening and it was full. We waited at the bar for just short of 45 minutes. Was it worth it. Absolutely. My wife and I had Calamari, Linguine Pescatore, Gamberi Caprese Rigatoni and Creme Brule. All plates were superb and presented in a timely manner. I was especially impresssed by the Pescatore. Plenty of seafood that was meaty, not miniscule. The flavor was superb. Even though the venue was full, it was not too noisy. I will definitely be back. If you don’t mind a wait, I highly recommend.

Our server was excellent. The calamari was one of the best I’ve ever had! We had 3 dishes that were supposed to have the same sauce and one looked perfect, the other 2 were lacking sauce and very watery. Tried for a sauce remake and still wasn’t up to par. Will try again and hopefully update this review.

Highly recommend! Food was delicious! I can’t remember the name of what I had, but it had rigatoni, grilled shrimp, and a light marinara sauce with mozzarella. Our waitress, Kelly, was friendly and attentive. We also ordered the calamari and the bread, which was delicious. We will definitely be back! And the prices were perfect!
