Great addition to Amboy! The food was well prepared with care, served hot, and as described. Nice atmosphere with the sports and beer/spirits decorations. Prices all include sales tax, so what you see is what you get. We enjoyed The Flight, which are three types of cheese curds that includes three dipping sauces for starters. For my meal, I very much enjoyed the Snack-n-Go, which is an homage to a prior business from Amboy’s past. Looking forward to next visit when in town.

First time on the Summer Food Tour at Uncle B’s Bar and Grill, highly recommend. We got onion rings and a chicken strip meal as appetizers. Then the group got a hamburger, Philly Cheesesteak, Chicken Quesadilla and gyros with a mix of crinkle cut fries, thin fries and tater tots. Everything we ordered was excellent and service was very attentive and friendly. Some may be turned off by plastic cups, eating out of cardboard boats and using plastic ware but it didn’t bother us at all, we’re all for simple and efficient.

Uncle B’s was great! The food was absolutely delicious — the shrimp po’ boy was fantastic and the chicken lollipops were also delicious. Drinks were cold, the vibe was perfect, and the service was awesome. Definitely will be back again. Thanks for a great experience!

So first time we came to eat here, the food was good, quesadillas, Cuban sandwich and other things…..tried again two weeks ago this time the quesadillas barely had anything inside and I tried the Gyro… well the pita was pretty empty. My wife was like wow you should’ve stuck with the Cuban you had last time :=)…..I could close it flat…..Flavor however was good but not worth getting. Gyros are not meant to be this empty just my opinion, and I have eaten plenty of Gyros and this is by far the smallest thinnest one. I will be in the area this weekend might swing by for something new.

I’m a a food Credit, I’m going to be honest, , this bar and grill will not serve you a full meal, if your a grown man like me , you need to order to full meals to be full, there servings are small, they over charge you, ther wings are burnt, you pay extra for sauce, if you drink , they are over priced,even for shots, you tab at tgen end of the night will be over $100.00 and if you don’t tip they will not serve you, I sat here for an hour , and the service was horrible, they work on tips and food is over priced,

We were there 10 minutes and got terrible drinks and when we said something we were ignored for our food order and then the older bartender Simber ? started to take our order and became extremely dramatic and aggressive towards us. After giving her my order I didn’t feel comfortable staying there. She was extremely rude and personally attacking and I have never seen her before in my life. Our drinks in the plastic soda cups were 90% soda. I am still shocked that she didn’t just ask what was wrong with the drink instead of creating a huge scene that embarrassed us and caused us to pay full price for a sip of our drinks just to get out of there.

Sunday is Smoked Wing Day & I stopped in to get some for the very first time. I ordered 6 plain wings & fries to go. I got exactly 6 pieces of chicken–3 drums and 3 wing pieces. I paid cash and had a wing when I got home; delicious!! Fries were hot and not really salty, which was fine with me! I put the rest in the refrigerator after I lined the Styrofoam container with paper towels to contain excess fat. I reheated the remaining wings and fries on a plate in the microwave on Monday evening; still delicious!
Atmosphere in the bar was a little noisy for me, but I don’t frequent bars since I don’t drink alcohol. TV’s we’re on with sports and patrons were talking and laughing with each other at their tables as they drank and enjoyed their food.
Everything was clean, neat and orderly! Bar was continually being wiped down & glasses washed.
I got a few glances from some people, since I had my coat and earmuffs on: I was by the door & it was a cold day.
I should have asked how many pieces constituted a wing; in the fry station of a grocery store where I once worked, a wing was the complete item, including the tip; at Uncle B’s each piece is considered a wing. Big difference; but lesson learned.
Food was great, price was about $2/ piece of chicken, so I’ll have a better idea what to order again!
Don’t miss out– these wings are wonderful; and they also have boneless wings too! I got the bone-in wings, since I prefer that type. I may have to sample a couple of sauces too next time before I order! It was $12+ some change; I would have liked a receipt, but I’ll ask for one next time.
