Plato Loco and Fajita Fundito, a Cuba Margarita and a Raspberry Margarita.
Good sized portions.
The Plato Loco was steak, chicken, onions, mushrooms, rice and beans.
The Fajitas Fundito was steak, onions, and cheese…Terri’s not a pepper fan so she had those eliminated from the plate.
All very good!! Service was good as well..a little sporadic but very friendly.
Will be back! Many items on the menu look very good!

Great food and service! The wait staff is very attentive and the service is very quick and friendly. The last time I went, the wait staff went above and beyond in terms of service. My mother had left her phone at our table without realizing it, and our waiter followed us out to the parking lot where we were already backing out to give it to us! It was very much appreciated!!

We came here on the recommendation of a friend and we’re glad we did.
The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was very good with large portions.
We ordered the grilled Chimichangas. Forgive the picture, I put the lettuce and sour cream on it before the picture.
Lunch set us back $38, including the tip. Comparable to other restaurants in the Cedar Valley.
The reasons they only get 3 stars instead of 5 are…
1. The benches need replaced. They’re worn and threadbare. With the money this place makes, keeping the place in good repair shouldn’t be optional.
2. The restaurant needs to pay a little more attention to cleanliness. The air ducts overhead are VERY dirty and you can see where condensation has formed and dripped.
3. If you’re looking for “garden fresh” salsa, this is not the place. The salsa is tomato sauce based, came from a can, and tastes like it.
Other than that, this place is worth a shot if you can overlook it’s shortcomings.

This restaurant has such a friendly atmosphere to it. The staff were so helpful and kind, and the service was super quick! The food is A LOT, so go here if you are super hungry! It was really good, though. Really enjoyed the experience.

Taps is the go-to place for the locals. The food tastes great and comes in huge proportions. The staff is very friendly. The margaritas…. Theyre huge.. And let me tell you, they don’t skimp on the tequila. Their small size is what many places consider a jumbo. I highly suggest the fajitas. They’re amazing. They come out so fresh that the food is still hot and smoking. Also, if you’re into face melting salsa, they give you chips and lava to munch on till you get your food.

Passing through Waverly and stopped at Tapatio with a friend for lunch. Great place for Mexican food. The stake fajitas were wonderful and portions were large. Their salsa was chunky, tasted fresh and home-made. Service was friendly. Atmosphere was pleasant, and the place was clean. Lunch menu prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend.

The Chicken Chipotle was the best meal I have had at any Mexican restaurant in Northeast Iowa , Southeast Minnesota . The portion size was incredible. Excellent service. A rare dining experience for sure!
