Just ordered a turkey club SUB. I got a weird sloppily built SANDWICH with buttered and grilled bread, with no turkey in it. This is the worst sandwich I’ve ever been served. The atmosphere felt beat; like a failing restaurant. They offered me another sandwich, but I don’t want it. I don’t think this place will be in business long, I’ll never go back. Do better! So disappointed. How do you make a turkey sub with no turkey, and no sub roll. Also, language barrier which I normally don’t mind, but given all the other issues, it just added to a lousy experience. I never write reviews but I just spent $15 for nothing. FAIL

Added photo of garlic bread and what we received after ordering the chicken parm pasta. Does not look anything like the advertised spaghetti noodles and chicken breast in their stock photo. We received rigatoni noodles with cut up chicken.
Also pictured is roast beef sandwich I pulled off the cheese pickles and tomato.

Ordered 2 subs tonight. My meatball sub was swimming in sauce and fell apart from it being so soaked in sauce and tasted horrible. My roast sub I ordered was supposed to have extra oil onion and pickles it came with 2 pickles no oil. Both went in the trash. 26.47 in the garbage. I’ll stick to the other locations not sure how this location stays open

First time at this one and we got 2 super beefs with cheese and mayo. It was kind of chewy at points, very thin mayo, cwe added more from the packets they had. We got sweet potato fries, they put cinnamon on them which was a first for me, but my wife like them. It’s under new ownership as their sign said grand opening.

The food was delicious, everything we requested was with the order. I turned my co-worker onto the Greek Fiesta Pizza! I would suggest that, the menu would be better if the ingredients were listed with the food, rather than the ingredients being at the end of the choice where you may choose none of some of the ingredients.

After striking out at two other places on the same street (both disappointments, zero slices, morale low), we finally wandered into Giovanni’s out of pure hunger and desperation.

At first glance, it kind of feels like you accidentally walked into a quick pit stop that time forgot — not quite sure what you’re in for, expectations safely set to “survival mode.”

Plot twist: it worked.

No slices here either, but by this point we were committed. I grabbed a tuna fish sub, and honestly… it was way better than expected. Fresh, filling, and exactly what you need when hunger has fully taken over decision-making.

Not flashy, not fancy — just solid food that saved the day when every other option failed us. Sometimes the most random stop ends up being the right one. Would absolutely come back (preferably less desperate next time).

The phone call to order was very difficult with the language barrier. Ordered a large Italian calzone and there was only about three slices of cold cuts in it when I ask them if that’s typical they said that is all the meat they put in the calzones… while she implied that I am ungrateful. I Spent $50 on a calzone and a salad just to be disappointed and talked to you like an idiot. I will never go back there. I would rather drive to their Salem location to get dinner.

Food is consistently bad at this location. They should take a trip over to Londonderry and take some notes on how Giovannis food should taste, especially if they want to stay in business. My wife and I grabbed a couple of subs for lunch today. My wife ordered the chicken kebab sub, but when we got home it was made with steak and not chicken. She called to let them know and the employee said “it’s not possible you got the wrong order, because another customer would have complained that they got the wrong order and they didn’t”. She offered to send them a pic to show it was wrong but they didn’t take her up on that, so posting it here instead along with the receipt showing that chicken was ordered. What kind of customer service is it to blame your customer for being wrong?

Food was not good. Got the Buffalo tender dinner. The tenders were over cooked and tasted burnt, they gave off a bad smell and was dripping grease and watered buffalo sauce. The onion rings were too greasy. Could not finish eating. Had an order of sweet potato fries and they seemed to be seasoned with salt and sugar, also tasted bad. Definitely not going back

Average Italian chain restaurant to grab a bite to eat. Nothing to brag about. Prices aren’t the best for the quality you get
