Sandwiches & Catering from a Family Deli & Market Delicious and fresh sandwiches for the Palo Alto, Stanford and surrounding cities is what we love doing. We also offer a full espresso bar, ice cream, and milkshakes while still maintaining a small old style neighborhood market. Delicious Sandwiches for the Palo Alto area is our biggest satisfaction, which comes from our interaction with the community and the feeling that they can rely on us day after day, year after year, for the perfect sandwich. Besides making sandwiches and catering, we like the role our Deli & Market plays in a community like Palo Alto. You can eat sandwiches at our place or take them to go. We love our diverse clientèle. Students from Stanford and local high schools!

I forgot which sandwich I ordered. In general, the sandwich was a lot smaller than I was expecting for the price. Initially, I was going to split it with a friend, but just ordered another one.
Flavors are good. Portions small. So value might not be there if you have a larger appetite.
Parking can be tough in the smaller lot.
Order at the front and pay for the sandwich when it is ready.

A classic deli with plenty of sandwiches, soups and salads on the menu. There’s a no nonsense approach to the way orders are placed and the food is prepared that is comforting, satisfying even. The sandwiches are not nearly as big as the prices would indicate.

We were recommended this place by my boyfriend’s boss, we live in San Jose so we don’t typically go down around Mountain View or Palo Alto area. This deli was absolutely worth the drive! Very busy place, which I understand why. The workers were so kind and friendly, the nice gentleman taking my order recommended the customers favorite to me and it was the most delicious sandwich I’ve ever had. They had a lot of options for sandwiches, chips, drinks, and they even had an ice cream and coffee bar. I think the owner was the one checking out the customers, he was also super sweet to us! I can really appreciate good restaurant service, because workers typically brush us off since we’re younger. The sandwiches were so amazing and the service was great, and the restaurant had so many different options for food, so we’re definitely gonna become regular customers!

Amazing sandwiches! Fast service! Manager chatted us up on the cute outside patio. Full service coffee bar and huge selection of beers, teas,juices and sodas. My Italian on Rye heated was so delicious I ate whole thing! My Brother’s Pastrami was so good, he got another to take home. We’re from Fresno and going up to Stanford next week so we will definitely be back! Maybe a coffee stop in the morning and and late sandwich stop for lunch! Thank you

Been going here since high school. Best sandwich place I’ve ever been to. I moved away but whenever I visit, I make sure to come here to eat and say hi to the owner. Amazing guy! I always get a BLT with avocado on toasted Dutch crunch, pickles on the side, and a side of chips.

Great sandwiches! When I visited I got a turkey club with cheddar cheese on Dutch Crunch bread. Although it wasn’t the best sandwich I’ve ever had, everything was very good and the prices were reasonable. If I’m ever in the area again for lunch, I’ll definitely be coming back to try some of their other sandwiches.
