My son and I ate there 4 months ago. Unfortunately the prime rib we ordered wasn’t cooked to medium well as we asked. The bartenders name was Cassey. She never brought the bread we asked for. She never kept an eye on our drinks like a good bartender does. We had to flag her down or yell her name. I wasn’t felling well about having to pay $110.00 for the terrible food and drinks. I didn’t not leave a tip. She didnt deserve one. I’m a big tipper always but that day I didn’t leave one.
Well this past Saturday I thought I’d try the place again to see if things changed. I took my son and a friend there to have some drinks and dinner. The first thing I noticed they had the same bartender. I thought oh well maybe things would be different. She came over to get our drink order. Wouldn’t you know she said she wouldn’t be getting me anything unless I leave her a tip because I didn’t leave her 4 months ago when we ate there. I told her she was very disrespectful and if the food and service is as bad this time she wouldn’t be getting a tip. She said she will bar me from the place. Whoppie. I’ve only been in the place about 4 times in my life. She was being nasty and disrespectful in front of other patrons. I was polite with everything I said. I told her it’s not a law that says you have to tip. I also told her if the service and food is good that will determine the tip.
The food was good but we still needed to make her aware that we needed more drinks. That individual is bad for business.
I paid for our food and left a tip. When I paid her I told here she couldn’t bar me for not leaving a tip. I told her she didn’t have to worry I won’t be back.

Food is the best. Waitresses are good. But the older lady that acts like manager needs ALOT of training. My family took my 89 year old mom out to celebrate cancer free dinner. Only to be told from manager that ” we needed to wait to be seated ( after already seated and ordered appetizer) because whole family was late. Made us feel unwelcome . Not a good way to treat customers when we were there weekly.

Love an independent restaurant like this. There’s a bar through the main entrance but I’ve never been in there. If you walk past that there’s a second door that takes you to the restaurant area. Pops are served by the can with a goblet of ice. The food is solid. I’ll be back for more for sure. Enjoyed the crab stuffed mushrooms and a pretty fine Reuben. The french fries are big and plain but fluffy, I’m not sure how I feel about them so next time I’ll get a different side. It seems like the cooks care about the food so I’m interested to go back and try a dinner option.

I had dinner here with friends (who are regulars) and had a lovely experience. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming and the food was very good! (Note: This was not the regular menu, since I was here for Easter dinner. I had the mahi mahi, with crab & corn chowder, and the Italian lemon creme cake for dessert.) I will definitely be back

Nice place for being a bar. Everyone was super friendly and polite. Came here for lunch and wasn’t disappointed. Got the works burger and hands down in my top 3 best burger ive ever had. Super juicy with caramelized onions thick tomato and mushrooms. Well seasoned patty cooked just the way I wanted.

Interesting diner serving breakfast lunch and dinner. Breakfast provided more than ample portions at reasonable prices. While the food was good, this is not the place to visit if you are in a hurry. Understaffed with a slow kichen. If you have the time to hang out and talk, it’s worth a visit.

Stuffed mushrooms were amazing. All the food was tasty and the prices were very reasonable. They accommodated the kids well.

Whenever I want to kick back and unwind this is definitely by the place that I choose. There’s a lot of regulars that are also welcoming and very, very nice and it’s just a place that you instant feel like part of the crowd not an outsider. I would suggest this place to any new people in the area or just someone driving through to come in and give it try because you’re not going to be singled out like at most bars in this area.

Marty’s Bar is a definitley a five-star local bar and grill that consistently serves amazing bar food, cold drinks, and top-notch casual dining in a true neighborhood atmosphere. And all at SUPER affordable prices. This is the kind of place you search for when you type “best bar food near me,” “local bar and grill,” or “top-rated neighborhood bar.”

The food is **excellent** every time, with great breakfast, burgers, wings, sandwiches, and comfort-food staples like my absolute favorite thing in the world, they’re creamy chicken parmesan on a bed.of pasta! but also when it comes to regular meals, they are exceptionally amazing, it’s like they have a gourmet chef, cook cooking back there. I swear to you. my favorite thing is the creamy chicken parmesan. All the food there is like its been prepared by a gourmet chef at a cheaper price then what you would pay at applebees. Always hot, fresh, and full of flavor, easily ranking among the best menus in the area.

What really sets Marty’s Bar apart, though, is the welcoming atmosphere: the staff is friendly and attentive, the regulars are genuinely kind, inviting, and super fun. It quickly becomes a place you can truly feel welcome and accepted. love Martys!

And if you’re not a drinker, that’s okay. There’s a separate restaurant section that is completely different than the bar area.So it has the full dining experience without the bar. You can order alcoholic drinks, but it’s perfect for more quiet atmosphere if you want a more personal experience with anyone you’re with or maybe even a business meeting or something like that.

try it out! you wont regret it 🙂

I love everything about Martys. the atmosphere is always familiar. People are very friendly. The best part though is the food. It just blows my mind every time how good it is. I’ve been to fancy four star dining restaurants & Martys blows all of them out of the water. The prices are soooo affordable. They open very early for breakfast and serve lunch and dinner. the portions are so big. Chicken Romano with the garlic cream sauce instead of the lemon sauce, you will not be disappointed.. You’re welcome.
