Lovely little place. I was there a bit off from meal time or I think it would have been busier. The gentleman Ismael Gomez made me a fabulous Margarita, took my order and then prepared it as well!
I chatted with the other patrons as I walked out and they said their meal was great as well.

This place is a hidden gem! I had the Birria Burrito and it was delicious. The food here tastes fresh and good. Our waitress was attentive and helpful and the atmosphere is nice with a host of Mexican actors from earlier times. It’s neat and clean and it’s definitely one of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve eaten in.

Said new ownership, other then name, everything was the same. Staff seems to have a poor grasp on English and got two simple kids meals wrong. Other staff spent more time on cellphone/social media, then helping customers. I give them 6 month before they close like the last 6 restaurants in that location. Might be better as a carry-out only location.

This was our first visit since the new owners opened up. First the good. Friendly staff and seemed pretty clean so the first impression was good. It looks like they had the booths recovered and they were comfortable. The chips had good flavor but the salsa was very tomatoey, without any chunks. I had the crispy tacos. The shells were light and crispy. Inside was what seemed like unseasoned ground beef, a little lettuce, a little white cheese. No tomatoes and no salsa or anything but HOT only sauce on the table. Medium would have been nice. The refried beans were pretty thin and over cooked. They were hard to eat with a fork because they oozed through the tines on the fork. The music was so loud that everybody in the place had to talk pretty loud to have a conversation.

Chips are fluffy and crispy, and the queso dip is so good. They are the perfect paring! We have been there at least 4 times in the last month, everything we have ordered is delicious. Their sangria margarita is a must try!

Our first trip to this place, I went with my wife and 8-year-old daughter. The chips and salsa weren’t the greatest and my margarita was not good at all. It tasted like really bad, super sweet, generic Kool-Aid… I was starting to worry. I ordered green chile pork, my wife had a California burrito with steak, and my daughter had a beef soft shell taco. My pork was DELICIOUS. The green sauce was perfect. Flour tortillas, rice, and beans all great. My daughter ate her taco with no complaints and my wife’s burrito was good as well. So food was great after a rough start. Maybe they can keep tinkering with their margaritas, and next time I will order beer. Service was attentive and friendly as well.

Wouldn’t expect a small town to have the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. Their cardne asada was juicy and had a lot of flavor. Their customer service is always nice and seem to always have fun with customers. Would for sure recommend coming here even if it’s out of the way.
