My daughter wanted Canes chicken strips. She called me over and ask why there are holes in the container? Good question.

Why do Canes use Styrofoam containers for hot fried chicken strips? Styrofoam contains styrene which is a chemical that can leach from the foam into food, especially when heated, and is considered a neurotoxin and potential carcinogen.

Perhaps cost comes before food safety? I don’t think people would prefer melted plastic on their food.

Not much to say about the food that hasn’t already been said. Simply put, the best chicken fingers in the game! However, that isn’t what this review is about. I’m big on customer service, and I was thrilled after my experience with the young lady that took my order (Jannette). In fast food, even during the slower periods, you feel as if you’re herded from the cash register to the order pickup area. Jannette wasn’t having that today, even though she did upset me the lemonade. First time in the FM 423 (Frisco) location, but she treated me as a regular. I had to share my experience with the Manager on duty (Moi)…who was also a joy to meet. Shout-out to the super polite Hispanic young lady that filled my drink order…your cheer is contagious!!

Corporate: Great service leads to positive experiences, which goes a long way to client retention.

Wonderful experience. The place was perfectly neat and clean. Traci was our hostess. She was a perfect 10 in customer service. And the food was awesome, hot, large portions with yummy sauce and coleslaw. The fries could get bigger and better though. Overall a 9/10. May you go places Traci for making our evening wonderful than we had imagined ❤️. We chose Caniac Combo. It came with 6 huge , juiciest and crispiest pieces of Chicken fingers, a coleslaw, 2 sauces, a Texan toast and a large drink. We live next door and this place shall be visited most often now! ❤️

The chicken strips & fries were just OK… somewhat bland and relying mostly on the sauce to give them flavor. The coleslaw was decent enough. My main issues were the small sauce cups (which aren’t free) and them putting the hot chicken directly on the styrofoam container, burning a hole through it (which could’ve made a mess in my car). It should’ve been on an insulating sheet, to keep the styrofoam from melting and implicitly transferring onto the chicken… I’d prefer to not eat foam chemicals. That’s cutting corners a bit too much for my taste. They lost 2 stars for each… not being a good value and the melted container.

I know it’s fast food, but the element of service should not be spared. I spent $$ for 3 boxes and was almost hurried out the drive through only to get home and discover an entire meal missing from my order. A quick, late meal for my kids turned up with 1 kid missing their food and myself out the $$ spent for it. It’s not the end of the world, but it sure does lend towards an opportunity to sharpen some soft skills and QC behind the counter. Button up & be blessed.

Just wanted to share and say that the crew working there today was awesome! They were super accommodating, and the place inside and out was very clean! The price of Cane’s keeps me from getting it all the time, but I really appreciate the amazing service from the crew that was working during the lunch hour today!

Ordered 2 3-finger combos and we got what you see in the pictures. These people have to realize food isn’t cheap. When we order 2 3-finger combos we expect 6 chicken fingers. Not 4. It would take one heck of an apology to get me to come back here. Disgusting business practices. Over $20 for 4 small chicken fingers. This is bs.

They got my order wrong (I ordered naked tenders). When I got home and realized the mistake, I immediately called. The employee I spoke with assured me they would honor a replacement meal as long as I kept the receipt. I explained I wouldn’t be back in the area for a while, and they said that was fine.

When I finally came back a few weeks later, the manager on duty (Celeste) refused to honor that promise. I asked for an exception—denied. I asked for a refund since I still had the receipt—also denied.

After sitting through a long drive-thru line just to be dismissed, it was extremely disappointing. I followed their instructions and kept my receipt, yet was treated like my time and their own word didn’t matter. Completely unacceptable customer service.

We went to Raising Canes for the first time together. The short lady with a boy cut (mostly shaded/faded black hair) was so rude to us. She was impatient with us while ordering and had a snarky attitude/answers while answering basic questions about their food. I asked her if we can substitute anything in the combo meal and she flat out said “NO.” This is odd especially since Raising Canes DOES allow substitutions. Then we gave $100 bill and she slammed drive thru window and exclaimed “OMGOSH” as if we did a crime by handing her a $100 bill. She seemed annoyed she had to give us back change and for whatever reason, on our reciept it says we gave $20, but we gave $100. But she gave us back the correct change of $84 and some change, but with an attitude. Then we waited for a while to get our food, and then she only gave us 5 chicken fingers instead of 6. We went back through drive thru to tell her, and she slammed the drive thru window shut again before giving us the 6th chinken finger. No sorry or anything. We suspect she was being racist towards Indians. Otherwise, why be so downright rude? And lie about your menu? You obviously don’t want us to shop at your store. No problem, we will just go elsewhere that are polite and accepting. If you want your morning ruined, go here. Husband and I decided we won’t be returning.
